Easter Golf
Sand traps and greens were excellent but fairways have some growing in to do.
Nice views
Course dies not drain very well and therefore was saturated. and cart path only. Makes for a very long day and not too wnjoyable because course is difficult with a lot of room and long walks. Felt beat up after 3.2 miles of walking.
Eagle Hill
This is a fantastic layout and the course is immaculate. Greens rolling very true and fairways are in great shape. It has been wet so some areas are holding water in the fairways but other than that, it was fabulous.
Decent shape. Good value
Fairways were in good shape but greens were a bit spotty, bumpy and slow. But the Hot Deal was only $15.50 each with the fees. Well worth that.
Great friendly service
The man working the register in the golf shop was over the top friendly. There greens crew does a great job keeping the course well maintained.
Good course
Normally the fairways are fairway lush. They cut really low and were dried on Oct 12. Maybe due to the lack of rain for many days. The greens were in good shape, fast but not crazy. Love playing the course.
Perfect Weather, reasonable priced round of golf
I had played Eagle Hill once before in a 4 man scramble, but not playing my own ball. The course has some interesting holes. We played the blue tee, and I shot an 82. Not stellar, but not terrible. Ended up with two balls in the water, which is easily doable on the back nine. Interesting stretch. I wouldn't mind playing it again, especially for $25.
A little disapointed
I used to be a member at Eagle Hill years ago. It is not the course it used to be. In addition my Golfnow tee time as well as the person in front of us were booked over by members. We ended up in the middle of a bunch of 5-somes playing quite slow. Greens were really furry and the fairways were dirt in some places. Just not the course it used to be.
Eagle Hill
Eagle Hill is a fun track to play. It has elevation changes, hard dog legs and plays fairly long. Will be back to play.
Challenging
Eagle Hill while not being a complicated course and not having water on every hole, but it will post a challenge to golfers. Bermuda greens are the best thing going for this course. Pace was good with many 2/3 somes playing in the afternoon. No large groups seen. With some attention to landscaping this course would be a standout.
Hot deal a good value. Nice grill for sandwiches daily. The club has a pool and weight room for members.
pace of play
I liked the layout a lot. I have great reservations about playing the course again since they allow groups of 5 and also I saw group of nine on a green, in my option this is the kind of behavior that restricts the games growth
I just saw this on a Lindsey Development this past weekend. I just say something to the 5-some, start off polite and go from there. Yes, I agree, not good to grow the game, not good for future business.
