Decent local course.
It’s a decent local course. Really good to grab a round and have fun. The dress code is lax so you don’t have to dress up to play. Staff is nice. Definitely recommend.
Longhills Golf Course
The course was an alright play. It had some really intriguing holes. The layout was okay but there needs to be more directional signs on where the next tee box is located. The fairways were a little rough, but the greens were receptive and fairly manicured; however, there were some that had some really bad spots. The place was crowded, but the pace of play was fairly decent. I would recommend as a secondary course when you can't get on a nicer course on the weekend.
Front 9 was closed, so told to play the back 9 twice. I quit after nine holes. The course was burnt and appears to have a lack of maintenance. I will not return.
Longhills in not taken care of
You can tell at one time this is a nice course. The layout is nice, but the tea boxes, fairways, and especially the greens are in horrible shape. Some of the greens I played on were nothing but sand no grass.
Fun round
This course is really fun to play and is challenging. The only negative thing I can say about the round was that it was difficult to figure out where to go to find the next hole at points. The course is in and amongst a lot of apartments/buildings, and at points you have to travel quite a distance to get to the next hole. The course condition was flawless though and it is obvious they spend a lot of time and money to keep it up. Now that I have played it, I don't figure the layout will be an issue moving forward. But if it is your first trip here, watch for the rocks that point you in the direction you need to go. They can be easily missed.
Don’t play here
Cory the older man that works in the clubhouse will ruin your round and threaten to throw you out 5 times before you get to the first hole. He finds joy is chewing people out. We were 1 foot off the cart path and he just came up rubbing his hands together smiling to chew us out. The course is not great. No grass on 50% of it. Cory needs to be fired. He told us he pretty much hates his job and doesn’t need it because he is making so much off retirement. Just ruining experiences for future players. 10/10 don’t recommend. All because of the faculty they choose to keep employed.
Don’t play here
If you want a round of a miserable employee griping about having to work and staying on you the entire time. He said he doesn’t even like working here and made our first 9 miserable. Threatening to kick us out every chance we get for being off the cart path 1 foot by a green. Just a miserable person who needs to be fired. His name is Cory and he is about 60 years old. You’ll know him as soon as he speaks because he is just a chronic. Nobody can stand him.
Longhills
We enjoy this course. It is fun and challenging to play. My only complaints are it is not a 45 dollar a round golf course. More like 25. The cart paths are old and undrivable, and tee boxes and fairways leave a little to be desired. The greens have greatly improved over the last couple of years.
Fox woood first time
It was nice. Under construction rn with new owners.
Greens were shacky patchy. But I know it will get better. The yellow lines between 4 and 5 need to be re done hard to know if it’s your first time. Other than that freeways were good . Tee greens great. We had a blast will coming again
