Winter play
Course was frozen, lots of ice.
Still I enjoy the layout and the price is reasonable. Staff is always friendly and courteous
Well maintained
The course is always well maintained, and the staff helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure to play at Oakmont Green.
Nice course

Was cart path only due to weather.

I really enjoyed my round and would recommend this course to anyone.
Saturated Fat
Usually Oakmont Greens is a great value play course but this time around it was completely saturated causing several fat and chunky iron strikes. Adding the poor tee box conditions which made it difficult to fine flat ground to stand on made it a frustrating day on the links. Weather the day before did play a factor so I’ll keep that in mind next time I book this course. The limited staff that was working were all friendly which is very much appreciated.

It was a course where I had a bad experience. I was very hurt that the players were so rude and didn't follow basic etiquette. They didn't even follow the basics that golf should be played in chronological order. They moved freely wherever they wanted to go. they were behind me, but he came in front of me. Even though they met me in person, they didn't express any sorry. I had this experience a year ago and this is the second time. Maybe it's because I don't live there. And there is no starter on this course and no time check. I will never play here again.
Ridiculously slow pace
If your tee time is 10:30, and the next one is at 10:38 or 10:40, there is a reason for the gap. It is important for pace of play that the tee times are stuck to. The day I played this course we waited on every hole except for number 2 (par 3). After hole 4, there were 2 groups waiting to tee off on each hole. After the turn, we were 2 groups behind on the tee. It wasn’t really a slow group causing the problem, it was the tee times being thrown to the wind and the starter getting groups out as soon as the next group was out of range. The starter obviously meant well and was friendly, but this is a known issue on this course so please figure it out. Thanks.
Good course for Fall golf
Not too many leaves on the ground. Course was in good condition.
Kudos to the grounds crew
We played at 738 after Ian rolled through. While obviously cart path only. The course was in impeccable shape considering the massive rains. Greens were smooth, grass lengths maintained, and minimal puddle in low areas or bunkers.
