Course need care
We selected this course as a halfway point between Cincinnati and St. Louis. It's a course that would probably play better the second time. It's a challenging course with severely undulating fairways and greens with bunkers everywhere. Bunkers and waste areas are a mess, although it looks like some are undergoing rebuilding. Get off the fairway and you will find lots of weeds and bare spots. It looks like the course was let go, and they are trying to bring it back. Staff was friendly and the food was good. Pace of play was 3 hours at 11:00 on a Wednesday. At $29, it was priced appropriately.
Great
Nice course.Love the refreshment area at the turn.
Cambridge golf
Course is in excellent condition, had a great time. Players need to remember to fix ball marks other than that fantastic!
The course offers challenges
I liked the layout of course. Offered alot of challenges. Tested your nerves. Overall great time
Links style course
Fairways are in great shape. Ball sit up nicely on the grass. Greens rolling great. Loved putting on them
Great and challenging track
We played on a day with 20 mph sustained winds so it was a VERY challenging day. The course was great though and for the number of people there the pace of play was fast. The morning person working the pro shop wasn't the most polite or informative, we found out from a young kid that there was an outing going on so people jumped in front of us. The young guy let us know though that they were on their last hole. It would have been nice to have known that when we paid.
Excellent course but got rained out after 11 holes
We had a great golfing experience at Cambridge Golf Course except that a thunderstorm blew in and we had to leave the course after 11 holes. The course was in good shape. We will return.
