Overpriced course
I used to be able to play 18 here for $26, as in the past few months. I went today and was charged $50 with range balls. THIS IS NOT A $50 COURSE BY ANY MEANS. The last time I was there I looked at their pricing sheet and it was $26 for 18 holes. I looked at the pricing sheet today and it was $44 for 18 so they’ve definitely gone up. I noticed all brand new golf carts and new concrete for the golf cart trail, so I’m assuming they’re trying to recoup some of their costs. Regardless too expensive for the course and amenities and I will not be back.
Will be back
This course is only a few miles from the house, and being only 9 holes, we have refrained from checking it out as the Mrs. wants to get that different 18 and be further out away from the clutter of the city if she can get it.
Anyway, on Jan. 1, mother nature gave us a great day to be out, and it had been a while since we played due to the weather on our available days to play. So, I said let's just get out, go here and play 9 and take advantage of the weather.
While we have played the other Lindsey courses at Norman and Stillwater, I guess we had a closed mind as what to expect here. But this course provided more than expected.
It is still a good course, and yes, you might as well keep that driver in the bag if you waver outside the fairway. We learned a lesson or two on a few of the holes, when we play this course again when the weather warms up, we will play them differently.
Overall, we were more than happy with the course, pace, greens, etc... we were even behind a group of 5 and the pace was still good.
If you can catch the hot deal times, it is a great value course. We will be back sometime soon.
Nice course, wish it was public
I have lived in the area 5+ years and this was the 1st time I played the course. Since its winter the greens were shaggy but I expected it. Will play it again when it warms back up.
Friendly staff, tight course
This is a nice little course for those who tend to keep it down the middle of the fairway. Not a place to try and crush it because it's very tight and surrounded by apartments. My son only had a t-shirt so the grounds keeper lent him a collared shirt which was extremely nice of him. The greens had just been aerated so putting wasn't great but the rest of the course was in great shape. There were dead spots on the greens but there was drought and 100+ temps all summer. This 9-hole course is very walkable. Will probably walk if we go back.
Fun practice nine no 10th hole.
They had aerated the greens. The course does not have snack bar or cocktails. It is definitely possible to loose or find a few balls have fun.
Everything was great until PAR 5
This course was very nice, people were friendly and the greens were lovely. Everything was going great and I was even excited with the option of playing the back nine. All of this was ruined once I got to par 5 and some jerk was hitting balls onto the fairway and almost hit me multiple times. Apparently they have the range set up where you hit into a lake right next to the fairway but if you have no control of your swing and no regard for other players it’s the worst situation for a first time visitor. All in all this was a good course for the money. Will I be back? Probably not.
Ok little 9
It’s was a tight little course the greens where ok but not all the same speed , fairways where very hard , would like to play after all the grass comes in prob diff course !
Challenging Course
Course is wrapped around an apartment complex. It offers some challenging holes, and course management is key to a good score.
We had fun
Every one very happy
One and done.!
Hole number 1: score card & tee plaque both show 299 from whites.. Not even close, was about 180..
Several holes did not match up with what was displayed on score card and tee plaques. Most fairways were beyond narrow. Worst part was the conditions of greens..
Will not play here again. I will give credit to the The Links in Stillwater. 18 holes, much better design, and in much better condition.
