Great Course To Work On Iron Game, Not Putting
Played here while visiting from out of town for the PGA Championship at Southern Hills. May 2022.
This course is par 54, 18-holes of par 3s, all from 120 - 200 yards from the tips. I found this course to be very helpful in working on my iron game as I used from Pitching Wedge to 5-Wood in the bag and trying to correct a pull - missing left issue. Some holes have water or other trouble to carry and some holes you need to thread the needle between overhanging trees.
Was disappointed that the greens were not mowed or rolled so it was basically like putting on a tee box or worse so did not take too much stock in short game and putting.
Easily walkable at being under 2000 yards I believe, with some hills to navigate. It looked like they had some good ClickGear push carts to rent but the guy in the shop did not have the key to unlock the cable securing them, not a big deal but just a bummer not to get to use pretty decent push cart.
The course brags that 26 Oklahoma State High School Champions called this course home and I can kind of understand that if these kids grew up learning golf at this course, they would have an advantage in the iron game being probably better than peers elsewhere. They likely then develop the driver and tee game at a regular par 72 course.
Excellent junior camps
My son has been taking lessons for several months. He loves the coaches. The classes are small and he receives a lot of one on one coaching. I highly recommend this place.
Good Range
Excellent staff, new indoor training facility is great!
Par 3 course needed a little work but not too bad.
Great place for juniors/kids
Nice Local course
Nice local course. I've actually only used the driving range. My daughter takes lessons here. I like that its close to home.
Nice Par 3 Course
Nice course. Fun course to take my boys to. They are just learning. I wish they would let us use the practice putting green, but there is an extra fee for this. $20
It is a fun practice course.
Fun for my kids!
We had fun on the driving range! It’s a great little course!
Great Driving Range and Interesting Pro Shop
The par 3 course is a fun, time-friendly track. The driving range hits toward the east, and is a good place to hit. The pro shop has many interesting deals.
Good for practice
This course was a fun place to play. Great for beginners. Great deals. Very laid back.
Great Fun for beginners
We took my daughter to play for the after noon. The staff was friendly and willing to help us out. We played 18 holes for a reasonable amount and rented the gold cart. For non golfers it was very much a hilarity. But for my daughter it was fun and something she would do again. We all need practice, but overall we had fun for a long time and the cost was reasonable. Course was a little confusing, and hard for non golfers,. Thank you staff at Lil Links
Great Course for Beginner Kids!
My son is in their junior golf program and loves it! Kyle and his staff are great with the kids! My son has improved his game and absolutely loves going there to practice. I would highly recommend the junior golf program to those that have kids that want to learn how to play.
Nive evening play - great place to just practice
The cost of the green fee and cart fee is so minimal it makes this a great practice course. The layout is nice, however the cart paths could be better defined. All-in-all enjoy playing here.
Family Fun
My 9 year old is in the junior camp and doing really well! Kyle is great with the kids. My son wants to go early to every lesson and sad when it is time to go.
Best decision we have made putting him in the camp.
Quick Round
This course works great when I want to get in a quick round with my 8 year old. It usually takes around 2 hrs to play. The new greens are nice, but slow. Around four holes where water comes into play, a few with narrow fairways, but most are pretty open. This course has really helped with my short game. If you want a real challenge it is probably not your course, but a super course to take kids and work on short game.
Good for beginners or practice
This is a good par 3 course. The greens were in poor shape in places, but overall the course is kept pretty decently. The driving range is set up with flags at many different lengths to test every club, as well as water and sand hazards. It's a good course for beginners to learn on, or to tune up your game if you're rusty.
Best Coaching Staff around
I go to Litl Links for range time and more particularly the lessons. Kyle is the best golf instructor I know of, and over the course of 10-15 lessons over several months, he has completely remade my swing. I got better after EACH & EVERY lesson.
More than a par 3.
Staff is terrific. Driving range is very good. Target areas and flags well marked. Teaching pro is tremendous. Very knowledgeable. Uses modern technology. Has a weight transfer mat that is the best tool ever. Measures the amount of weight on both feet throughout swing. Well worth the price and time for a lesson. Very revealing.
Not what I expected
I was in for out of town and jump on to find a course. The pictures on the site looked nice, but after seeing the course in person, I know they had to borrow from somewhere else.
Not too bad
The front greens were recently redone. They still have some work to do but overall and good course for a beginner or someone just wanting to play an easy golf course
