Getting a little. Etter
Almost 200 trees have been removed in the past few months. Many were infringing into the fairways and/or blocking the sun and hurting air circulation around the greens. They are also repairing the sprinkler system
(Which should have been done years ago.)
The greens remain a travesty, ball rolls like it’s in a plinko machine. The design of both the fifth and ninth greens are an absolute joke. The fifth should have at least 20 more feet of puttable green to the right and the ninth should be blown up and rebuilt from scratch. In addition, the senior tee box on 6 should be moved up across the pond. Par is unattainable for 90% of the seniors who have to play it from where the tee box is located presently. We used to play it from the forward position across the lake and it would take minimal effort to make a tee box there. Hopefully they will get grass growing in the areas where the trees were removed. The only way to day this will be a strict cart path only policy.
The corporate powers that be let this course deteriorate from a hidden gem to an absolute piece of crap. Hopefully it can be rescued and restored to its former condition.
Improve maintenance
The course was not well MAINTAINED, sEVERAL greens were bad
Don’t waste your money
Idk how you let a course get to this bad of condition. Every other course in the Tulsa metro has beautiful fairways, tee boxes and greens. This was the worst conditioned course I’ve ever been to and I’ve played here 20+ times and it’s just fallen off a cliff.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
I was a long time member and cancelled our membership last year. This course was a hidden gem 15 to 20 years ago. It is now a barren wasteland. Corporate doesn’t seem to care about course conditions. Greens are completely gone right now and will need 1-2 years to recover. Debris is left laying around for days or weeks. Carts are past their prime and cart paths are terrible. Attempts to communicate with corporate are ignored or kept to a minimum. I was told by someone at corporate last year to “just let us do our job and get the right people hired.” Well, that obviously hasn’t happened.
Greens, for the most part, are hard packed sand now with little grass. Avoid this place like the plague.
Fun course
Fun layout course that ive never seen busy. Greens are small and challenging. But good shape. Not much to eat or drink in the clubhouse, and no range are my only complaints. Had a great time though.
5/1/25
Greens are in decent condition, slow and soft from the rain.
Course condition wasn’t bad but the grass is patchy at best, kind of farm golf feel almost. All in all I like the course. Pretty tight. Fun layout just a 9 hole.
Not impressed
The staff were super nice!! Like real nice but other than that the course doesn’t really have anything good except layout. The fairways were not great and the greens were really bad holes all over them and they were also cracked everywhere
Worst experience ever
There was a 4-some in front of me which didn't bother me as I wanted to take my time that day. Then I discovered that there was a 5-some in front of them that were slowing things more that they should have. There is water on every hole and a lot of it you cannot see from the tee boxes. The fairways are in terrible conditions as well as the greens. Almost ever green that I was on had some disease on them and they were difficult to putt. I got so frustrated with everything that I didn't even finish 9 holes. I will never play this course again. It is the worst course that I have ever played. You might play well if you are a scratch golfer, other than that BUYER BE AWARE!!!!!
Hard pan
Leave the driver in the bag and 3 iron is pushing it too hard pan will put you in water most likely. Rollout downhill to water on 5 holes. Mid iron play is best here.
Condition has gone downhill
Although the course was in generally good condition the bunkers have not been maintained, with little to no sand, mainly dirt and weeds. The once vibrant ponds had a strange green film, perhaps runoff of fertilizer. The greens rolled true; however, there were areas of perhaps crabgrass on each green.
Hopefully, some TLC will bring this course back to it previous very good standards.
Badly in need of help!
Got to play this course that has very friendly staff and is so convenient for a quick nine or 18, but it was sad to see the status of the greens. Four of the nine had active moles, crabgrass on almost every one and I repaired ball marks that altered much of what the moles hadn’t. One of the members told us that they lost their greenskeeper earlier in the year and since then it has went downhill quickly.
I sure hope they get their staffing filled before they lose the course.
I appreciate this place but could not recommend it at this time.
Mystic Creek Experience Stay & Play Package
This was my experience as well. The green basically did not exist. It was essentially a flat bunker. This place needs help and shouldn't allow people to play until it is fixed.
