Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Links Course
About
Eagle Ridge Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses: the Ridge, the Pines, and the Links. The Pines and the Ridge are the original layout at the club, built over a former sand and gravel quarry. The original designer was asked to create a third nine, the Links, on the adjacent property. The golf course has the same pinelands character that the original layout has but as its name would imply, the layout has a more traditional links-design that offers a different set of challenges from the other two courses. The rolling landscape has many elevation changes formed by a variety of bluffs, cliffs, and ridges. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27 holes of championship golf, Eagle Ridge also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

The most beautiful course I've ever played on. Period.
Played this course while on vacation down at the Shore. A little more expensive than other courses I've played on, but goodness it was worth it. Not an easy course by a long shot. You'll have to think through every shot you take. But talk about a picturesque setting - all over the course. Very well maintained, greens were immaculate. Not crowded at all. We chose to play the links portion of the course for the back 9. Breathtaking. Definitely coming back here again.
Almost hesitate to say it!
This is an excellent public course experience. The greens were quite good, the course was in excellent condition and the pace of play...especially for a Saturday...was just terrific!
The course has some interesting holes with some severe slope and in one case unusual tee to green path so it will be a lot better play the second time around.
very nice course.
The course was in good shape the greens were just earated but didn't roll to bad.Played in a little under four hours. the 27 hole layout helps.
Challenging link course
There are a lot of elevated holes for a challenging round
A Truly Unexpected Pleasure
Played the Pines and Links nine hole courses. Outstanding conditions, and we were surprised by the elevation changes, and the course challenges. I look forward to getting back, and would recommend this course to anyone.
great golf in Ocean County
Spent a few days in Toms River. My friend and I got a reservation for early tee off at Eagle Ridge. Very well staffed as wee dropped our clubs off. 27 holes we played Pines (10-18) and Links ( 19-27). Very different looks. Excellent greens and overall condition. Paired up with two other very good guys which made the round that much more enjoyable. A few holes is cart path only which makes a 4 hr round a bit longer. Pace of play was excellent and would go back there in a heartbeat.
tHIS COURSE WAS CHALLENGING
Must keep ball in the short grass especially on the Links 9. Course was in good shape and the pace of play was good.
Fantastic course
Course was in very good shape well taken care of, and very challenging. The links are exceptionally challenging. Overall, an excellent golf course, the staff very sociable and helpful, the facilities are amazing, just a very good place to play golf and enjoy yourself.
always a good time
have had the chance to play this course 3 times and had a memorable experience each time and was lucky enough to get paired up with good company on my visits. course was in good shape. mostly a 4 to 4:15 hour round. overall the links course was the most memorable. pines was nice because there was some relief from the mid day sun with the trees. ridge was a little more open but there still was some trees
I was paired up with an older gentleman named Charlie and our golf balls were touching on the fairway on the split fairway par 5 on the pines 9 after our 2nd shot...we had a good laugh and you could imagine the jokes that could be made after that
my twosome got stuck behind a slow, will not let you play through, foursome. the course has 27 holes, why do they stack up twosomes behind foursome?
My twosome got stuck behind a ver slow, WILL NOT let you pkay through foursome. The course has 27 holes, why do they insist on stacking up twosomes behind foursomes? Bad course management from the pro shop.
Challenging course
The links course was a modest length that played difficult due to prevailing winds
Great experience
Really loved my experience here. It's clear they pay very close attention to the pace of play, spacing out the tee times and utilizing all 3 nines. Saw the beer cart girl often.
You don't need to hit driver very often, but it's a challenging second shot course if you're not hitting irons on line.
the staff and location were great
i enjoyed the general layout and general conditions
the big problem which was ridiculous was the lack of respect for the course by the public it is a great course and it seems the patrons feel they are above repairing divots and ball marks on the greens that is a shame to see at a beautiful course like this i cant
really blame the staff-it was from the days play
i would like to play this course again because it is a challenging layout
4/star gem of a course!
One of the best venues in Ocean county beautiful greens and plush fairways, a great overall value in a natural setting.
Great Course
Love the course layout!.. I would definitely play again.
AEaglr Ridge... A good choice
Great course, challenging, good condition, good value.
Great course.
I wish course was little cheaper but its well spent money. I love this course.
First Class Facility
This is an outstanding course from the staff to the facility. What stood out was how we were treated from walking in the door to leaving the premises. Especially Tom the starter. Very helpful and friendly. He pointed out the putting and chipping area, the practice range and how to get around the course. He also pointed out the "target" on hole #23. Boy, was he right. The course itself is just gorgeous and plays to all levels of golfers. I would like to thank Eagle Ridge and Golfnow.com for making it possible for us to really enjoy this round of golf.
excellent course!
Have played here several times and always fun! Usually good pace of play but didn't tee off until noon this time. All 3 nines are good layouts. Lots of elevation çhanges which are not common for this area. Exxellent greens and good mix of short and long holes on par 3, 4's, and 5's.
