Lakewood Country Club

From the man working the cash register with no sense of humor he seemed to be overworked could not handle a customer a cash register and a telephone call to the starters who think they are on some kind of power trip the way they talk to you hey you what time is your start and all you’re doing is walking into the office you don’t even have clubs in your hand and then they ask you again and again starters need to take a course on being friendly to people that just spent over $80 no water on any of the holes the grounds are horribly kept and you want premium prices. Good luck. It’s probably not gonna last long.

Always love playing at Lakewood. I was told in the Pro shop that aeration had taken place a week prior, so I was bummed. HOWEVER, it was perfect out there. All grown back. Had a great time as usual

Went as a group of two, got paired up with two cool guys that knew the course. Made it easier to traverse

Always in good shape. Usually able to get tee times. Reasonably priced, when you consider how expensive golf has become

I booked a 2:50 with absolutely nobody in front of our group. We got here early and they are making us wait at the 1st tee box until our time with no other group going out before us. Horrible golf course. Horrible conditions I’ll never play this course again

The condition of the course was very good. Rough was a little high.

Always in good shape. Presents a decent challenge. Pretty easy to get tee times but also not a ghost town. Good price, considering the inflated prices for golf these days

I booked a tee time here for 2 golfers. When I arrived they told me that they had me down for 3 golfers. I showed them my reservation on GolfNow which showed a reservation for 2 and they said it must of been a mistake. 2 days later I received a “no-show” charge for the third golfer that I did not book. I called the course and was told the manager would call me back. He never did. I had to call back two more times to finally get answers and then they told me that GolfNow was at fault and that they charged me the no show fee. I reached out to GolfNow and they said the course was responsible for no show fees and that they were not being honest with me. I reached back out to the course and received no response! These people are dishonest and I will never spend another dollar here and neither should you.

Clean course, fast and well kept greens, rough very playable

LCC is a classic old style layout. Small greens, many are multilevel with two that are Biarritz greens. The fairways and greens were in great condition. Nice restaurant and outside tiki bar.
