Fun course in good condition
Pace was great, finished the front 9 in 1:20. The back 9 is longer because there are more par 5s but the two groups in front of us really slowed things down. The back nine took a good two hours.
The fairways had a nice thin layer of grass. The greens were finished and clean from the aeration a few weeks prior and the rough was in decent shape. Much better conditions than I remember.
The checking man was nice and the cart guy was hilarious. The starter was a bit ornery. My friend and I teed off at 12:58 as we had a 1pm tee time. We stepped off the tee box at 1:02 and the stater asked if wanted to join the 1:10 group since we didn’t tee off by 1. Even though we did. Strange
nice warm day
for this time of year course was great ! staff was amazing and starter got us right out and played 18 in 4 hours so not to bad at all!!
fairways and greens were all green and they punched the greens 10days ago so they are playing fast 😁

Fairway and Green are in great shape for the time being after brutal winter. Course is well maintained.
Not bad
Frost delay sucked but not their fault. But the guy when I tried to pay sat there in silence and didn’t say anything for a minute then just stared at the sign that said frost delay. I just wanted to pay and I already knew there was a delay

Well kept after a brutal winter
With the winter we had the course was in fantastic condition for early March golf. Well done!
Nasty
From the man working the cash register with no sense of humor he seemed to be overworked could not handle a customer a cash register and a telephone call to the starters who think they are on some kind of power trip the way they talk to you hey you what time is your start and all you’re doing is walking into the office you don’t even have clubs in your hand and then they ask you again and again starters need to take a course on being friendly to people that just spent over $80 no water on any of the holes the grounds are horribly kept and you want premium prices. Good luck. It’s probably not gonna last long.
Never fails
Always love playing at Lakewood. I was told in the Pro shop that aeration had taken place a week prior, so I was bummed. HOWEVER, it was perfect out there. All grown back. Had a great time as usual
