Situated in the heart of Franklin, the Cheekwood Golf Club (formerly known as Fairways on Spencer Creek) is conveniently located only 20 minutes south of Nashville. This popular layout has been ranked as one of the top 10 nine-hole golf courses in Tennessee. Despite being a shorter course, the layout still offers several holes with water hazards and sand bunkers. The tight fairways and rolling terrain also require a fair amount of accuracy. The course has enough challenges as well as enough variety throughout the holes to make it a fun round for more skilled players, which also makes it a great place for beginners to get some practice. Being that the round is usually quick, the golf course is a popular choice for golfers looking to get in a quick round after work.

Great pace,, wonderful weather, greens and fairways in great condition, maybe back again this week
Great family friendly course!
I had a daddy/daughter date at Cheekwood and it was perfect for my daughter who is a new golfer! This would also be a great option for a quick nine or hole 18 holes with my golf buddies. Excellent layout, the course is in great shape, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
Wow, this place has come a long way
Several years ago this course was okay not great, there were certainly areas of the ground keeping that could be addressed and some of the greens were in pretty bad shape. I’ve played this course many times over the years and this is the best it’s looked by a long shot. New management has done a terrific job That said, I still think it’s a little pricey for an executive 9 hole course and it’s really a bummer that they don’t offer a walking rate any longer. But that certainly won’t stop me from playing here again. It’s such a fun little course.

Had a nice Friday afternoon round on a great layout. Greens a little slow.
Had a very good experience. I brought a disabled friend and your staff was so kind and helpful. We were given a flag for our cart and she was able to be closer to the greens which she found very helpful. She was impressed by the kindness shown to her and she wants to come back. She has been away from golf for several years and now has found a place where she is comfortable playing again.

Overpriced
Even though this is in Franklin, it is not worth going out for an executive course. Also, for a short course and them to charge the same price to walk vs ride is bad. Save your money and go play at Harpeth Hills for less than half the price.
