Nice Short Course to play
I played the back 9 here on Sunday evening, the first time i have played here. Nice short and quick playing 9 holes but still challenging due to the back 9 being in the forest with tight fairways and some hazards. The Cart i had was clean and in good shape. A fawn came out of the woods to visit me as a bonus. When I was finished playing staff received my cart and cleaned and disinfected it. Overall a nice little course would recommend based on value.
get what ya pay for
cheap price, very easy course. terrible layout....they have a hole that is 75 yards...11 par 3s. every par 4 green is drivable
Great value!
Great course to tune up your game and focus on sticking greens. Treat it like a true links course and leave the drivers in the trunk. Very cheap prices!
Weak
This course seems like it was placed in what used to be a farm field. The holes are close together, there are no yardage markers outside of the one next to the tee, and the course doesn't appear to be well kept. The "Pro Shop" and restaurant were basically in the same room in the same building which is weird.
They take good care of grounds
Very friendly staff! We really appreciate how well they keep twit grounds! Greens are excellent!
nice
Nice people. Great conditions always. Good price.
If you need to brush up on your short game, this is the place to go. You won't find many places that are in this condition, no bare spots on/or around he greens. Play it!
Good course to improve your short game.
this course is good to use your short irons. To judge the distance with your irons and see how your short game is going. it will test your chipping and putting to try to improve on chipping the ball closer to the hole.
This course is horrible
Too short of a course and I would not suggest this to anyone. Golfnow messed up the price for this course.
First time
We played the first 9 holes on this course. The holes we pretty much straight away from the tee. This was a good thing because I took my daughter out for the first time and it was the perfect course for the situation. I would bring my daughter back to this course because it's it's the perfect course for beginners. Also it's in a quiet area and great atmosphere.
Great for a beginner or youngster
I brought my 7 year old son out to golf, and this is a perfect facility for that. Straight, easy layout of the holes are perfect for beginners. The pace of play was good for such an outing.
Course for beginners
Brand new remodel of clubhouse underway. Front nine is wide open and great for beginners
Great course for beginners.
This is a nice course. It is a fairly straight course
With some challenging greens.front 9 is pretty wide
Open while the back 9 is mostly wooded.
Good for the short game
This is an executive course, so it is naturally shorter; no par 5's. Front nine is wide open, but the fairways are narrower than a longer course and the greens are a little smaller. Be aware that the rough is a little thicker/deeper than the average course. Don't think about chip and run unless you have a wide short grass opening to the green; the rough is extra deep/thick around the greens. Sometimes even when the grass is short in front of the greens your ball will not get the roll you expect. Make sure your first approach shot hits the green and not before. *Be wary of the short par 3 2nd hole; it is ranked 1st or 2nd in difficulty over the whole course for a reason. Water on three sides; know your distance.
Back nine is the opposite, all wooded; you will see a 4 stroke difference in difficulty between the back nine and the front nine. It starts off with a 400yd par 4. Other tough holes is a 212 yard par 3 17th and the par 4 18th with a slight dogleg left; there are 2 water gullys and off the tee you are hitting from an open area into a narrower wooded area.
Well maintained course.
SHORT
Under 4k yards 10+ par 3s nuff said? Some degree of dificulty, but wasn't impressed
