Silos Country Club

I played the senior tournament today the golf course was perfect the tif eagle greens are awesome the golf course played great.

Nice couse, just not a five star property … probably will be fully private in the future. Thanks for being on GolfNow so that I could find you!

It was huge deal for me to be able to go off early place was dead I was driving through asked to tee off early but owner is jerk about this thankfully Marshall called him anyway and let me go out but really all that just go out early.

I played in the Silos double couples October 19,20 the golf course was in great shape and the staff ran a great tournament. There were teams there from 6 different states. Job well done can’t wait until next year.

The new greens were in excellent condition. The fairways were mostly outstanding. Rough was a little tall but after 6" of rain last week, mowing has been difficult. Cart paths were terrible but that is nothing new, otherwise, an enjoyable round of golf.

I got invited to play in the 19 man shootout and the golf course was outstanding I had a great time can’t wait to go back.

Overall the course was in good shape. Greens were hard and fast and fairways were in great shape along with the tee boxes. My only complaints are there’s no bathrooms on the course and there was no hot food at the turn or the end of the round. The cart paths are horrible if you can overlook that then this place is ok. I’d honestly give it a 2.5, the guy only asked if I booked online and I said yes and he wasn’t even tracking what I really owed I could have said 20 bucks and he’d probably would’ve believed me but is what it is. Not worth the 100 mile drive for me won’t be back sorry!!

Course was in great shape, staff is always friendly.

The facility was very nice. I just started playing again after about 15 yrs. When we first started out we were able to play at nice steady pace. As we went on more golfers came out and they seemed to be in more of a hurry than we were. Once a group got behind us we felt very pressured to move faster than what we wanted to. Nothing to do with the facility but rather other players. I know they have no control over the players. But we needed up not finishing and just leaving cause we felt rushed. But overall we had a great experience. The staff was wonderful in helping us figure out where to go and what to do as it was our first time there.

I just saw that someone gave this golf course a 3 star review I don’t think he knows much about golf I just played there I’m a very good golfer and I’m here to tell you the golf course is outstanding. The tees and mowed low and full of grass the fairways are mowed low and really good full of grass. The grass around the greens is cut nice and really good the roughs are all bermuda and cut roughs are thick but playable and greens rolled fast I’d say around a 10 and smooth. The place isn’t fancy has a great practice area and big boy golf if you havnt played give it a try.

The golf course was fantastic it was in great shape and the greens were awesome they held a shot and rolled fast and true. Parts of the cart paths need some work but didn't bother us. Can't imagine a better golf course in our area.

I haven’t played here in several years because of the conditions of the course. Huge improvements. Fairway and greens are nice.

The course needs water and bathrooms throughout the course.

Greens are fast but nice. Well maintained and close to my home. Like the staff.

This course offered a challenge yet enjoyable round of golf. Greens had a few rough spots but the zoysia tees and nice fairways were enjoyable on every level. I really enjoyed playing this golf course.

Greens are phenomenal. Course looked well maintained. It's a 10 min trip from my house. I like the Silos

Home is your fortress. It where everything starts but also where it ends. It's the one place that you can feel totally safe while doing something reckless because there are no judgments and trying something new is encouraged. There's a family that congratulates and coaches each other so when you venture out, you are at your best. When I moved out to W. Paducah I found the Silos so close to my home that I felt it a shame to have one so close an not play a round. Tha was 3 years ago and I am a regular now and plan to continue. Great place

This golf course is a great challenge and lots of fun to play. Course conditions are excellent and the greens rolled pure with nice pace. I highly recommend visiting The Silos when in Western KY
