Longhills Golf Course

Good place to golf at a great price. Was a little slow paced but who cares

If you are looking for a cheaper rate, better book through a golfpass website. And book Monday-Thursday morning to get your money's worth. It really should be cheaper all the time because it's not a country club course even though it's fun to play and does have it's challenges.

The course had about 6 well maintained holes, 6 holes that needed some work, and 6 holes that need major work. The course could be a beautiful destination with some serious efforts from the greens keeper work force.

Course layout was kind of weird, not much signage on the course as to where the next hole is. Worth the 30 dollar hot time but I would not pay 40 dollars for the course. Greens were in good condition, fairways and tee boxes not so much. It looks like the tee boxes and fairways were just punched so my review is probably not completely accurate as to what it is in the good season.

Not being from the area I booked a 7am tee time on Golf Now. I don’t think they actually opened until 8am. Those early tee time booking times should probably be removed as options if that is the case. Put me in an awkward position to say the least. The course layout is extremely weird. Navigation really needs to be improved a bit. Definitely got lost a few times but I eventually found my way. The section around hole 5, 6, 9, and 18 is the strangest thing I’ve seen. I also had a hard time getting my tee in the ground at a few of the tee boxes which is not really ideal. Luckily the staff was extremely nice and the price was not bad at all so still ended up being a good day out playing!

The layout was nice. Had elevated greens, tee box above greens course was in great shape. Greens so fast even with morning dew and a little wet. Sloping green made it difficult to keep ball on if over hit. Was a lot of fun.

Poor design and layout, bad pace of play and golfers here generally don’t observe basic golf rules and etiquette and there is no marshal to enforce it.

The play was fine, not clear on where to go on the course. Yardage markers would help. Direction signs, the layout is a bit confusing

Better greens than any of the other public courses around. Clubhouse needs to get some hotdogs!

Nice course in great shape. Slow, but undulating greens. The pace of play was so slow that I quit after 9 holes. They may have been changing the hole location a couple groups in front of me, which is pretty frustrating at 1030am on a Friday. Will certainly give this course another try.

It’s nice and close to home but the only way I will play there is when I play thru the golf now app. It’s too pricey otherwise.

Ladies, if you can strike the ball at least 250 yards, you’re hitting more than a few greens at this course. HAD A BLAST!
