Red Hawk Golf Club

Second frost delay, so going off later,. From what I can see, it is not frost, it is ice from watering too late and freezing overnight and possibly too much water, as it thaws the course is very wet in places on every whole so kind of sloppy. This also creates damage where carts drive though wet places. but still ice on shaded areas as around bunkers, I slipped and almost fell going around one...just my observations.

Course was over watered. Muddy and wet in fare ways. So wet carts are making tracks and ruin the grass. Greens are in good shape but people need to fix divots.

Today was Redhawk day and it turned out to be a great day for golf. The weather was good and the course with all the people involved along with the golfing itself went well. My friends and I had a good day.

Great course overall, only complaint, minimal, was that it was really watered down, wet areas all over the fairways. Needn’t water that much. Grass is dormant anyway. Love the Ken Dye design, speed of greens. Just an awesome experience!

I have been stationed at Ft. Bliss for 5 months now and my goal is to play every course in a 100 mile area. I have played all the courses in the El Paso area and decided to try the Las Cruces courses. By far, Red Hawk has been the best I've played. From the green grass, greens roll smooth and true, nice layout and the undulations, Red Hawk is great.

Frost delay , of about 3 hours.. Could have been due to watering late at night then freezes. The bunkers were wet and need more sand.

Excellent course. Had frostbite that morning so tee times got pushed. Can't wait to hit this course in the Spring!

Greens getting better winter grass is filling in. Sand traps still need a lot of help. Closing Golf Course by the Governor is a stupid move. We pay on line and stay outside to checkin. Employees ware mask and do a great job by cart boys to disinfect carts. Best place to social distance Outside in the middle of the desert. Only around 4 people at a distance. Sure is obvious this Gov. knows nothing about playing Golf. Good job Red Hawk and will be back when the Gov. gets educated on conditions at golf courses
