I thought booking a tee time at 4:30 on a Friday, it wouldn't be that crowded. 2:15 hours front nine. So only got in 9.
A college course, so probably always stacked. Book earlier in the day to get in the 18.
Great course and can be challenging from the tips.

Grass was to long very hard to locate golf balls.
Even on fairways. Please cut grass more often.

Nmsu first time
Really loved the course, the scenery is beautiful and the course was well maintained. Lots of green grass and nice forgiving fairways with big shaded trees. The greens were in good shape as well. I liked that I wasn’t constantly losing balls into the desert, but was able to get eyes on most of my shots that weren’t hit well. I really enjoyed playing yesterday and will definitely be back.

Course is in fantastic shape. Rough is thick. Avoid it. Greens are true and fast. Everything breaks west. Keep up the great work NMSU!!
