New Mexico State University Golf Course

Well maintained and in great shape. Really nice staff!

An occasional water cooler would be welcome.

Greens were smooth but slow. Fairways in poor shape, lots of weedy areas. Bunkers were very nice.

Very well maintained! Fairways were smooth and greens were rollingggg! Overall great course for the price.

This has to be one of the top public courses near Las Cruces NM. You pull up to a great clubhouse that has lots of swag and get a view of the entire course.

The staff was very friendly.

Loved how each tee box was right near the previous green making it easy for wayfinding.

One negative-the driving range is far away from the course and you have to pay for a bucket with CASH ONLY.

It was my son in law’s first goof game. He had a great time. We were paired up with two friendly and patient gentlemen, Trey and Johnny. It was a fun experience e. We will both be back soon.

Just be careful with who you get paired up with. Course was great but paired up with 2 immature kids. Worst experience ever. Bad golfers with bad attitudes beating up their clubs on course and language was horrible never again.

NMSU or GolfNow do not advertise when there are tournaments occurring, it’s very frustrating as a single golfer to show up and there’s long lines to get food or a drink, no carts available or have to wait almost until your tee time to get 1. Plus just way to many players on the course slows the pace of play.

This course is my favorite, will let you play and score good. Pace of play can be slow so its better to play on a foursome.

It was great. The starter got us out earlier and we never waited on any hole. The greens were in magnificent shape. The ball rolled true and the slope on some greens were very challenging.

They have updated to restaurant menu so it’s more New Mexican. Food is still good. Hot dogs only available on the course. Greens and tee boxes are great! Fairways are hard and waiting on spring grass growth.
