Awesome course in great condition! Love the ocean views, the taca station, breakfast/check-in location, everything was just the perfect pace for a vacation. Would recommend to anyone and can't wait to come back!
What an incredible experience!
My round at Costas Palmas was truly incredible. I was visiting the Four Seasons with my wife, who doesn't golf, so I golfed solo. The round starts with a stop of at the first comfort station to grab a coffee, etc. Then, it's off to the incredible putting green and driving range, one of the best I"ve ever encountered.
The round itself was also phenomenal. The course was pretty wide open, so I was able to play as slowly or quickly as I liked. I definitely took my time at Luche Libre, the comfort station after the 7th hole. There is nothing like a couple of margaritas and some carne asada tacos in-between holes. I camped out at LL for about 45 minutes, and still completed my round under 4 hours. Pretty incredible! The greens and fairways are immaculate. Very fair and very fun! I've already recruited a number of friends to make the trip back soon! Thanks Costas Palmas team for a wonderful round!
Topography and Tacos
It's a great course that feels like multiple courses because of the changes in topography. Those natural changes allow for a fresh start for those who need it! We had some very competitive rounds on this course and a lot of fun. The greens took some getting used to but three of us had it dialed in after the first nine. One of my buddies couldn't find his way out of the sand so it was a challenging day for him but good for us. Plus the tacos at the turn were amazing!
Costa Palmas Robert Trent Jones Golf Course
It is an incredible course right on the Sea of Cortez. The course was beautifully done by the Robert Trent Jones team and it is definitely a challenging yet fun, links style golf course. The staff and amenities are incredible not to mention
Punta Mita - Pacifico Course - Mexico
With over 1/2 the holes with fantastic ocean views , the famous natural island par 3 - Tail of the Whale - this course in Mexico is my favourite by a long shot
Friendly staff ., a great restaurant and a course in impecable condition -
Challenging and Fantastic Vistas
Played in July and September. Well designed, challenging, yet fun. Constant cooling ocean breeze and beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez. The top pros, Jimmy and Lizzie are knowledgeable and eager to
make your effort memorable. The staff is at the ready for any help. The way station makes you want to linger which works as there is no rush. Tacos and burritos and meeting interesting folks from around the world. And I think they have tequila. All in, a top 10 experience.
Perfection in the dunes
Played this course in August of 2020 and had high expectations based on the fact it’s part of the same community as a Four Seasons resort. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The Driving Range was the best I’ve ever seen, the staff were wonderful, the course was in wonderful condition (particularly the greens), and the layout was very fun and challenging. They offered the latest models of both Taylormade and Callaway rental clubs which were all in excellent condition. One of the best parts of the day is the Food and Beverage offered as part of the experience. There’s an excellent taco restaurant that I believe was located after hole #7 - some of the best tacos I’ve had in Mexico. Between the golf experience as well as the top notch Four Seasons resort it was one of the best trips I’ve had. I would recommend this Costa Palmas to anyone looking for a great day of golf and delicious food.
Tacos at the turn!
Absolutely beautiful location with one of the nicest practice facilities and driving range I have seen. The course was in immaculate condition and was a joy to play. Stunning views, perfect greens, and receptive fairways. One of the best parts was getting tacos at the turn! I highly recommend this golf experience and, of course, the amazing Four Seasons Los Cabos resort next door.
Top-Notch Golf with a Four Season's Touch
This is one of those golf experiences you get home and don't stop talking about and what you will compare all future golf experiences against.
The experience is unique in that all your food and drink is included. There is a market at the start to grab drinks and snacks. Then after hole 7 you stop and have an amazing Mexican meal in the desert. I'm talking about fresh tacos, chips and guac, pizzas, drinks and drinks, etc. And this isn't some little taco truck. It's a full kitchen and tables with cloth napkins out in the middle of the desert. Someone is waiting for you after hole 5 to take your order so when we arrived the food was waiting for us. Some of the best tacos I've had in a long time.
The range was amazing too. You are hitting Pro-V 1's - This says enough of the experience. However, the staff there will wipe off your clubs after you switch clubs. There are lots of different targets to aim at too.
The staff was great and made us feel special. They were so happy to see us. You could feel their pride of the course.
I would 100% recommend this course for someone looking to have one of the best golf experiences of their lives. I can't wait to go back.
Excellent!
The staff/service was incredible, the food delicious, the equipment high-end, the course incredible - wonderful experience! Excited to see the rest of the development built out around the course as some areas are still being developed. Can't wait to come again!
East Cape Links
Great new RTJ Jr course on the East cape of Los Cabos with amazing all inclusive food and drinks (including alcohol). Best tacos ever! Scotland links meets Baja desert dunes and views of the Sea of Cortez, while staying at the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas in order to play it...best of all worlds! Can't wait to play again!
An oasis of sand
What Costa Palmas does best is provide a completely different playing experience than its competition in Cabo. It has similar amenities to the area's best courses - a great hotel (a Four Seasons), incredible comfort stations serving free food and drinks, great conditions - but is more walkable and player friendly, two characteristics I covet. You can play a dozen or more rounds before losing a ball. The trade-off is less scenery.
The obstacles are an endless oasis of sand and the wind. Both my windy-season rounds were spent battling relentless gusts off the water. Because of it, the rounds felt more engaging and fun. I had to make tough decisions on club selection and play SHOTS, not just swing away.
Take full advantage of the comfort stations. They're two of the best in Cabo. Bouchie's (by the first tee) is a really cool hang. It's adjacent to the massive putting green that doubles as a putting course and a driving range that doubles as a short course.
Getting to Costa Palmas isn't easy. It's an hour from the airport in the opposite direction of the tourist zones. But it's well worth the effort.
