First outing of the year!
Great day for the first day of golf. The course was full, there was a 5-some that was a hole behind and the group in front of us was giving lessons as they played. Pace of play was ok for the number of golfers on the course. Course shape was good for this time of year.
Would recommend you make the trip to Hollydot.
Middle of December
The only reason is was slow was a group of 10 in two flights in front of us in a little mini tourny, otherwise it would have been pretty much an average pace. The course is in good shape for mid December, the greens are in fine shape. We play here a half dozen times or more per year, nice little change of pace from the 3 local courses I rotate through in my town and everyone enjoys the course. The entire staff are always friendly and courteous, the restaurant is fine for a small town course, the food is good and just as reasonably priced as a round of golf is on this nice course only 40 minutes from Pueblo, CO.
Great conditions for Dec!
They staff is always great at Hollydot, and they are keeping it in good shape this winter. They greens are being watered and the mild winter so far has helped.
Hollydot is a fun course.
Not many people there the day we played. The course was in good shape for this time of year. Greens were green and rolled true, but slower than we are used to playing Desert Hawk normally. Back nine is a fun links track up into some cool terrain. Hollydot is worth the trip .
They always treat you great at Hollydot!
Course was in great shape for November. Pace was ok, staff is wonderful and they make you feel welcome.

Location and Fun!
Great course and Staff. Away from the hectic city stuff, mountain views, and great course. I'm good to play there twice a month. Never disapoints!
Aeration Alerts
Via my GolfNow app, it alerts for conditions, one of "aeration". Take this seriously, as putting greens are very affected. Speed and smoothness, uuughhh! Take note. Other than that, all is well great course and people,

Had a great round with family. Location and pace...perfect. starter was helpful and kind.
