Timberlin
Nice course . Cart paths could use some work . Some thick , some thin lies in the rough , not too consistent . Greens nice but would be nicer quicker . Also always start on the back 9. Doesn’t make much sense
Overall good course
Fair for players of all skill levels
Course was in excellent condition excerpt for bunkers which were in awful shape. Overall though an excellent layout and a good mix of long par 4s and short risk reward holes.
Timberlin
Back 9 was wet and walking was required. Course was in great condition otherwise. Great round with my wife.
Best hot deal out there
Regular rate isn’t bad at all but if you can get a hot deal, jump on it. Best value by far and the course is in great shape. Just hit the fairways and greens. Second time playing here in two months and will again ASAP
Overbooked
Everything was great except the pace of play. We had to wait at every hole. The front & the back 9.
Good course but 5 hour round
Course was in good condition and has a fun layout. I was playing just behind a tournament and it was a 5 hour round. The group in front was a 5 person group, but there was no where to go if we passed them because of the tournament. Hopefully I just got unlucky
Good bones, rough shape
This course is another classic New England track, with narrow, bunkered, tree-lined fairways and not much margin for error. I like the variation in holes , the scenery and the shot values, but the course conditions have deteriorated since I last played it, maybe 7-8 years ago. The greens were nice for a public course that gets heavy play, but the tees, cart paths and especially the bunkers were in rough condition. It was also difficult to choose an aiming point on an unfamiliar course, because the fairways and the rough were not well delineated.
I had a nice time on a gorgeous day, but I think the course needs an infusion of cash to bring it back to its full potential.
First time, but certainly not last
This was my wife and myself's first visit to Timberlin. It will not be our last. Great course and well maintained. Cart paths could use some maintenance but besides that very nice course that will be added to our twice weekly golfing.
Heat Wave!
Today was really hot, but we had a great day. Everything was in good condition. The fairways, greens and all the tee box was really in good shape. I don't mind playing here everyday. All my friends really enjoyed the golf course. They like it so much , they want me to book it again for next weekend.Thanks Golfnow for this great Hot Deal.
Timberlin
I grew up playing this course and I’m in the men’s club this year. Greens are almost fully recovered from aeration. Course is always in good condition. Played 18, the back 9 as a 5 some and still waited every shot. Beautiful day always equals a long round here! So be prepared.
Poor pace of play
There was a super slow 5 some that was allowed to play ahead of us and even at the turn there was nothing done about it . Poor stater that allows this to happen . Took 5 hours to play 18 holes , ridiculous
