Southington Country Club

,

Don’t come here and expect an easy round. If you go by the slope and rating you would think this is an easy course.Frankly, the ratings aren’t even close. The yardage is not long however, the greens are very sloped. There are many elevation changes, the rough is thick anda small stream that runs through the course at strategic places. I played many courses around the state, and this is harder than most but is rated as easier than average, and one of the easiest by the CSGA. They need to come out and review their ratings. I believe they are 3 to 4 strokes off.

I played Southington Country Club last week and it was in sublime condition. The greens were rolling true and the fairways and tee boxes were in great condition. I also appreciated the vast number of annual flowers planted around the clubhouse and featured throughout the course. The devil is in the details….gentlemen keep doing what you’re doing. Southington Country Club is one of the few courses in CT that is justified charging $70 a round. One of the few quality courses in CT.

The greens were rolling fine so I wouldn’t complain too much. Just short funky holes describe the course

The course was in great shape, staff was friendly and the course is challenging loved it

The course is in good shape. It was cart path only and made the round longer. There was no need for it the course was dry.

Have not played course in a long time. Conditions were amazing, pace of play was great, ranger was present. Just overall great time on a course where people care enough to maintain it to it's maximum prime...

all good, great conditions, not too crowded on Wed AM.

3rd time playing this year. Tee boxes are starting to get rough. Greens were bumpy and need to be rolled.

Always like playing there.

Short course but plays long. Simple, clean, and classic layout, but has a lot of subtle challenges which results in an overall enjoyable round of golf.

High quality of maintenance and care.

Would definitely play again.

Got to play with 3 other Golf Nowers.
