Twin Lakes Village Golf Course

This is a nice, fun fairly short, course. It is tree lined, which being from the desert, I always enjoy. I got out early on the first tee time and played with a nice gentleman who live on the 3rd hole. It’s an easy walk, except for the climb up to the third tee.

Staff are very friendly and the holes have enough challenge to make it interesting. Some of the greens are very small and slopes can be subtle, but the are there, so putting can be challenging.

Always a fun place to play and only a short drive from CDA.

We had a great day. The course is long, but very nice. We look forward to playing again.

Inside the clubhouse there was almost a fight between two men. Then during our round we had a threesome playing behind us and they kept hitting into us. After about the fourth time and the ball going between two of our players they said something to them. This set the two guys off in the threesome who wanted to fight. We told the pro shop what went on and they didn’t seem to care. So while it was a nice course I would steer clear if you don’t like drama.

Overall a challenging and well maintained course. The staff is attentive to the members.

Given the dryness of August, the course is in good condition. Greens are receptive and the fairways are just right. My only gripe we had a very very very slow group in front on the back 9 and nothing was done. I would play again, but just know the course has a bunch of little ponds and very tight to homes.

Very nice course. Very narrow as I never used my driver (4i only). Greens were super fast. Sand was nice and soft. Pace of play was slow considering length of course with the 4some infront (all locals with own personal carts). Did get charged for cart once there but looked after round and it should have been included.

I did get charged again for a cart when in fact the deal time did include one (looked after finishing round).

Lots of water but unfortunately not much off it comes into play but course in great shape and we finished in 4 hours.

First time out. Wonderful course, will make sure to come again

As a person who plays a lot of golf in the desert, it was awesome to see the trees. Took a little getting used to before i could really swing freely, but the tress are fantastic. Tress frame every hole and you must take care to avoid them, or take your medicine. Balls go into the trees a lot easier than they come out. There is a tree near the middle of the 18th fairway that must be negotiated.

Lots of ponds in okay, so check the book they five you, or your gos for yardages carefully. Some greens have more slope than is obvious at first.

Bunkers have very find sand,(as opposed to the course desert sand that i usually play out of)so using the bounce on your wedge.

Staff could not have been friendlier. Two of us were fist off - me walking other guy riding - and played in 2:45. Just a super day overall.

Only downside is it seemed a bit pricey to me, but i would pay the same to play again when back in the area.

Homes are around the course but there’s plenty of room.

Lots of fun surprises on this sweet course . We were paired with a very nice local couple and the weather and atmosphere couldn’t be more perfect . The trout in the water hazard on the back 9 were AMAZING! Def a unique gc experience . So fun !
