Beautiful course
Good layout. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape between the season and time of year. A must play, will be back.
Great Little Course
Well maintained, good bunkers, short but good layout without a lot of gimmicks
Not Worth It
I've never been to a course I disliked more. The course looks like a mechanical mess, with tees next to water tanks and ugly buildings dotting the landscape.
More importantly, they are a Covid super spreader course, refusing to allow me a cart for myself without paying an additional $20 despite the fact that I was a single. They wanted me to ride right next to a total stranger while a global pandemic is raging. And the cart ranger was incredibly rude. I wouldn't waste my time going here.
Rock manor with Chris
Considering this course is well played by public demand the course was in very good condition after a full simmer of play . It’s beautiful and well landscaped with shapely sand traps and rolling grassy mounds that make it challenging to play. If it’s your first time playing since completely rebuilt 12 yrs ago. Purchase the course book to guide you as lots of blind shots and hazards
The Rock
Not too bad of a round. Pace of play was surprisingly above normal. Conditions were good too. Can we start calling #10 ... #1 from now on!? Why confuse people
Will be back
Always wanted to play Rock and it did not disappoint. Great conditions, fun and semi challenging layout on some holes. Great carts. Will be back for sure
Best course around
Awesome course! Wide open, won’t lose a lot of balls
Tough course
Played at 2 and thanks to a group letting us play through we were out in 3 hours which is unheard of at Rock! White tees were way back, almost too far for an average player on holes with hazards to clear. Probably 3 holes were unmakable tee shots for a buddy who doesn’t hit far. Course was in decent shape and is always a challenge. Staff was great and deal today wasn’t bad.
Great Course
Very nice course. In very good condition even though we have gotten an unusual amount of rain recently. Definitely will be playing again.
Rock Manor Course Conditions
Just played Rock Manor 8/25 and very disappointed with the condition of their greens. They just aerated the greens and did not clean them up very well. Very disappointed in the course and did not even offer a discount......
Great day of golf!
First time here in a couple of years. Pace of play and price was usually a deterrent. Got a good deal on Golfnow so $ wasn’t an issue and pace of play was great. We waited a few minutes at maybe 5-6 holes but overall was great. Didn’t have anyone up our butts either. Course was in great shape despite all of the crazy weather lately which lead to a few of Rocks trees being down. We will be back to play again soon!
