Fun course if you can putt
I have played this course 7 times now and I definitely enjoy it however sometimes (including this time) some pin placements are borderline unplayable. Not every pin needs to be on a crest. Regular players do not need sharp breaking 2 footers on 75% of the holes. Besides that I really do like the course and the staff. Everything is well run.
Not worth it
Got hit by a ball because of the hackers that didn’t tell fire, also course layout didn’t help. tee boxes were awful, the fact that they lengthen the course by placing tees alll the way in the back where you have to walk a mile to was annoying as well. unless it’s free, never again
Great course super fun and different
Pace of play was pretty slow the last two times I’ve been here, but with the range and putting green right there it’s really nice for a public course in this location. Highly recommend
Great Course Overall
Even though the round was $100 (seems like prices keep getting more and more expensive), the round of golf was great, the course was in good shape, and I will certainly be back there at a later date
Great Public Course
I'll get the negative part of the review out of the way first. It's a bit pricey and the pace of play can sometimes be very slow. As far as the course layout, difficulty, course management, and the greens go, it's a wonderful course. Whenever there's a hot deal, or a reasonable price for your budget, I strongly recommend golfing here.
Great Day for Golfing
Course was in very good condition. Weather was sunny but windy. Most greens were very challenging.
Super Friendly staff
From every part of the process from initially calling to set up a tee time, to dealing with anyone at the course, the staff is incredible. It made our round very enjoyable.
Pace of play was very good for a warm, sunny Saturday.
Course is in great condition. For anyone who hasnt played here before, expect a lot of bunkers and challenging greens.
Very Nice course
This is a very nice course. But it seems that these courses believe they have sustainability charging high prices for a round. There needs to be an active ranger on courses to maintain the pace of play and the course should accommodate the average player. The warm weather means course are charging higher rates but paying an extra $20 does not always equal a step up in course. I will play courses close to this one for less. I like it but it is too high in comparison to some othersl
Always a pleasure to play Rock Manor. Excellent facilities, plenty of things to see and do. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Layout is challenging but fair. Plenty of tee boxes to choose from. Also helps its five minutes from my house. I love Rock Manor. Go play it!
