Great!!!!!
Course was in tremendous condition especially being early December and given the amount of play it receives. Big thumbs up to the staff. Will return for sure
Challenging layout the first time
We played in rain and cold weather which made the day a real challenge. The course was in good shape, and the greens were faster than expected considering the rain. For a first timer there are some real challenges…greens you can’t see from the tee box, fairways with side slopes not visible from the tees, fairways that really require a layup that you can’t see from the tees. I will love playing this course again to better handle the challenges, and I will wait for warmer weather to do that! The staff was terrific helping get me oriented to playing the course.
Always a good time at the ROCK
Conditions good green speed good but alot of unrepaired ball marks.
Pace of play excellent, about 4 or 5 groups total on the course.
Fairways and tees good bunkers weren't raked anywhere but had good sand
Good layout, every hole is different, some easy,a few hard,. A fun challenge.
Fall golf
Great shape.. great conditions… no leaves on course 😂
Good Round
Given the weather conditions, course in good shape. Fast greens with challenging layout.
Great place
We had an excellent experience here. It’s a very innovative layout, which calls for shot, making, and strategic choices, not just blasting the ball. The course is in absolutely immaculate condition and everyone who worked it was very friendly and helpful. Great value for the money and we will definitely return.
Course Layout is short but challenging. Greens are super Fast but will hold approach shots. Any over struck putts or chips will roll for days. Players need ti fix divots on putting surface!!
Great Course!
Really nice course with super fast greens. If you like fast greens, this is the place for you. For the most part, fairly open. A couple of holes have very well placed bunkers for tee shots & a couple of holes where the carry is 170 yards over trouble! All in all a very nice course if you can get in under $75. Nice staff and good place to eat/refreshments.
Slow play
Very nice course to be fair. We were golfing behind a group of seniors that were playing very slow and a single walker. The group behind us hit on us multiple times. At the turn one of the staff yelled at us to pick up the pace without knowing the single walker just moved from the middle of the fairway. They were rushing everybody because the course had an outing that day as well. For the price I think they should plan a bit better if they allow for golfers to book times in the morning knowing they have an outing later in the day.
I always heard good thing about Rock Manor but my 1st experience was less that expected.
Great Course
I recall when Rock Manor was 8 holes in front, 10 holes in back and very poorly laid out because I-95 cut through it. Well, it is now a coherent layout. It is in fine condition with normal wear and tear after a busy summer. But it is a great place to play and the staff is just as nice as they can be.
Pricey for conditions
This is a great course to play, greens are always fast in late summer. Greens were aerated the day before and plugged with sand. Still had to pay for price, half tee boxes were in rough shape.
This course has extremely raised their prices since Covid and now it’s becoming not worth the price anymore.
My outing
A nice afternoon thwarted by lack of some SOP’s.
No attendant to assign cart
Helped myself and promptly questioned why when he showed up.
Explained my reasoning to which he he simply said “oh ok”
When I asked what the pin position was for the day he pointed towards #1 and said “I’ve never heard of that before..” Seriously? Even after I explained it same bewildered look.
Meanwhile my cart died on hole 12. Called 5x no answer. Had to walk rest with my bag, backpack, extra stuff. Backed up the group behind.
Kindly asked for a call back from the manager on duty-never happened. Followed up next day 8-18 with a live person who took my name and number but you guessed it… never happened. Initially I was ok with the cart breaking down and no answer at the clubhouse but the lack of follow thru after 2x follow up calls has changed that to now asking for a full refund to and a complimentary round for 2.
Strike-1 the group behind me had 4 players with 3 carts, music blaring and showed zero golf etiquete. Driving all over the place, driving on a few tee boxes, yelling and screaming like they were only one’s playing.
Strike-2 not one of them had the respect to offer up their extra cart to keep pace of play so I just walked a bit slower. Now I know that’s not ur issue but what is ur issue is you have 4 players and 3 carts
Hire competent people who care and know what “pin position” means.
All my contact info is on my business card that I left last night and on the post it note the person that I spoke to wrote on. It’s a public course I get it but no excuse for not full filling the basic needs of a golfer.
Work on the Customer Experience from start to finish before it’s too late.
Not Augusta National
Fees are too high and the staff is not very friendly!!
