Buffalo Run Golf Course

2nd time I played BR this year. Conditions have improved, however, there still are areas under construction, including the driving range (mats only). Greens roll well. Rough is thick!!! I mean, they water their grass!!! Its at least a 1/2 stroke if you miss the fairway. Strike it well here to fully enjoy your round.

Fun course and good layout. Course conditions were pretty good except for about 4 holes. Would go back and recommend the course

This course is narrow and the rough is very think. You can watch your tee shot land and drive up to the area and won’t be able to find your ball. Unless it’s in the fairway, good luck.

Over all it was a good experience. Greens were in excellent shape. 70% of holes are in excellent shape from start to finish. The remaining 30% need attention between tee and green. Very difficult course. First cut of rough is a nightmare to get out of. I lost two balls in the first cut that I expected to be in great shape. Finding fairways in general is very difficult here. Don’t stop watching a well hit tee shot - there’s no telling where it’s going to go once it lands. If you want a challenge and are okay with a few holes in rough shape - I’d recommend playing here. I’ll be going back for revenge.

It is a challenging course with smooth greens. There was quite a bit of GUP. Always enjoy the layout. Nice clubhouse and staff.

Great course, great conditions. Greens were great, rolled true, and had a lot of undulation. Beautiful views, and beautiful homes around the course

For $40, it’s a heck of a deal! I will be playing Buffalo Run more after my first round here.

Tee times were on time. Did not have to wait on a single shot as pace of play was great. Course conditions were very good for end of April. The rough is green and thick. Fairway are decent, spotting is some area. Holes are equipped with flag-sticks and shallow cups. Greens held nicely and rolled pretty well. Its been 10 years since was last visit, will come back very soon! Great day, nice layout!

Understanding that it’s February, however the fairways were in really bad shape! The greens were okay for the time of year. They could roll them. Tough day on a course that usually is well maintained! Not any longer!

One of few courses still open when it below 42 Fahrenheit, fairways and the greens were still relatively in good shape for winter golf. The staff at the pro shop were great!

Friendly staff. Excellent clubhouse. Electric carts.

For a municipality which has the largest tax base in the Denver area, you would think they would maintain this course better. Fairways were mostly dead grass (not because of the winter). Lots of dirt and bald spots. I played this course when it was first opened and it was a great course. It's a shame to see what neglect has done. The entire course needs to be overhauled. Close it down and reseed. Very disappointing.

I have played a few times and would says it’s a Very good course, with some tricky holes, especially if you are trying to get more challenge than Denver Municipal courses. It’s also reasonable pricing . We play the golds and the Par-3a are long. I played late fall and the course was in ok shape. Staff is always friendly, really cool guy as the starter, that is resourceful. My only knock would be the slower play 2 of the 3 times played.

This use to be one of the best-maintained courses in the metro area, no longer. On most of the holes, you couldn't even tell where the fairway started and stopped because most of it was spotty or just flat out dirt. Really disappointing because the course layout is really good.

The pace of play was great, mostly because no one else was out there. The staff and amenities are also top-notch.

Very disappointing!

Course came highly recommended but he had obviously not been there in a long time. Almost every fairway was burned out or had some sort of disease because grass was in short supply. They had thrown sand which I assume had seed in it all over the place. Greens were not in as bad a shape but you would definitely have to play winter rules from the middle of the fairway. Not sure if they just didn’t water all summer but maybe next year will be better. We had 4 groups on the 11th hole and called the pro shop for a ranger. They didn’t have one
