About
Buffalo Run Golf Course is a locally acclaimed 18-hole, municipal course in Commerce City. The links-style layout covers 7,411 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Keith Foster, there are challenging elements such as water hazards and bunkers that come into play on the course. The wind creates difficulty on this golf course. Buffalo Run Golf Course's front nine is less challenging than the back nine but it builds up good practice for the second half of the game. One hole to note is the demanding 13th hole. It is a par-3 that has a well-placed bunker near the green.

Buffalo Run Experience
This course is really getting into good shape. Had a great time and the staff is very hospitable.
Great
Par 5 was play as par 3 ,but overall great shape
.
Course in Rough shape
Fairways in front nine are very rough, dead grass everywhere to point that 2 holes are shortened to 150 yard par 3s with mats to hit off. Greens slow and bumpy, looks like pin placements haven’t been moved in a week- grass is growing over the edge of hole. Windy windy, bland layout with holes just routed thru thousands of houses in flat prairie- no trees.
Basically just a run of the mill medicore muni- but at least you’re hitting the ball. Last two holes are cool designs.
Should cost less
I haven't been here in years but the course is still under repair and I would guess another year until it is in playing condition. Greens are good.
Beverage service
Started at 4pm on the back 9, only saw cart lady once at hole 15, she stopped for 2 of the guys that was whit me and then after that she left without waiting that me and my other friend finished putting. Called the club house to send her back and they didn’t had radios or even her phone number to communicate with her. After I finish the back 9 and head to the first 9, I stop at the clubhouse to get me a drink and they only giving canned drinks because they had some issues with the juices or something like that.
Nice course
Very nice course to play at a low price. As soon as they get irrigation work done will be great

Potential, again but early season
Staff is awesome the amenities are good. The course conditions were less than stellar but it is early in season. I’ll try again in the early fall
Big projects going on
I hope fairways will get better, but I am doubting it from what I saw.
Any greenskeeper would be embarrassed by the course. Huge bare spots not associated with main project. Several different grasses on greens and huge patches of different grasses on greens. And if they were rolled, they have no idea what they are doing.
They are working on fixing issues
I really like the course layout. The staff is excellent. They are repairing an issue they have with the soil. Once it’s complete I think it will be a great course.
Recovering Course
The course is in recovery condition from the irrigation project. Two holes playing as par 3. Several fairways closed. Sparse conditions on most fairways. Greens are in good condition for early spring. Fun track, hopefully once it recovers it will remain a value.
