Buffalo Run Golf Course is a locally acclaimed 18-hole, municipal course in Commerce City. The links-style layout covers 7,411 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Keith Foster, there are challenging elements such as water hazards and bunkers that come into play on the course. The wind creates difficulty on this golf course. Buffalo Run Golf Course's front nine is less challenging than the back nine but it builds up good practice for the second half of the game. One hole to note is the demanding 13th hole. It is a par-3 that has a well-placed bunker near the green.

I really like the course layout. The staff is excellent. They are repairing an issue they have with the soil. Once it’s complete I think it will be a great course.

Recovering Course

The course is in recovery condition from the irrigation project. Two holes playing as par 3. Several fairways closed. Sparse conditions on most fairways. Greens are in good condition for early spring. Fun track, hopefully once it recovers it will remain a value.

Great Golf Course

Buffalo run has been under construction/repair for quite some time. I hope the grounds crew can get it back in 18-Hole play soon. The only reason course conditions received 3stars was because of that ongoing work. The green fee reflects that accordingly and gets instant forgiveness accordingly. Come play a course with 18 fair holes. This summer, you’ll be in for a treat!

Great greens & layout, horrible conditions otherwise

It’s so sad because Buffalo run is an awesome layout. The greens are in excellent shape for January in Colorado. The fairways and the rough just about the worst I have ever seen in my 50 years of golf. Don’t know if this beckons back to poor construction, or whether there was some gross error management. The nice thing is they have lowered the green fee by some 50%.

Great round… teed off 240 finished at 4…. Played 2 to 3 balls per hole…. Was hitting my irons with great accuracy… only lost one ball… 2 bogies 2 birdies the rest pars…. 1 and 9 had a lot of work going on so they were t I great shape but GilfNow and the course were up front on this… rare to have a course to your self in the front range… thankful…. New golf shoes were great. My wardrobe was on point….

Good day for golf

Reconstruction seemingly gone extremely bad

Compared to the conditions a year ago this course has fallen head first off a cliff. I hope it somehow turns a positive corner but based off what I saw and having broke a wedge in half in what was called a fairway I have my doubts. Caution for land mines
