University of Idaho Golf Course

This course has interesting layout with some great potential. However, the conditions are less than desirable. It could offer a new dimension to the game for the adventurous golfer. If constantly dodging balls coming from every possible angle sounds exciting, if waiting on every tee for drunk college kids to complete their shotgun of natty light sounds comical, then by all means toss down a few bucks.

Nice layout, great pace of play but tees in rough shape and not very level.

Provides a challenge for even the better players.

I’ve been playing this course for 24 years and have never seen it in better shape. Just an outstanding value. Interesting holes and gorgeous vistas with tee boxes for everyone. The restaurant (a relatively recent addition) is excellent for a burger or a complete dinner either outside on the patio or indoors. The driving range is irons only, grass tees but there is a full trackman available to dial in your clubs. Excellent putting green by the first tee. No golfer should pass through the area with discovering this hidden gem.

Lots of hills and raised greens good course for $$

We live in Seattle. The U of I course far exceeds what we have on the other side of the mountain, looking forward to coming back.

Fun course on the Palouse. Greens were in great shape. Interesting hole’s especially on the back side. Staff was friendly and tee’s off on time.

Outstanding greens on a very nice course. Great value, much better course and value than the pasture called Palouse Ridge in Pullman. Played 18 holes in under 4 hours for $45. Great value.

Very nice university golf course. Excellent pace of play. Course is challenging because the rough has not been cut down. Greens and fairways in good shape. Excellent value for the money.

I found it odd that there were hardly any cart paths. I actually got lost trying to find the 16th tee box. Otherwise it was great and I’d recommend.

Hilly course in the Palouse. Liked the layout with good views. Course could use some TLC in places but the greens were in good condition. Fair course & not super difficult but their are some OB & lost ball opportunites especially if you spray the ball. I walked all 18 but was tired at the end - would get a cart next time. Clubhouse, food & bev, practice facilities are below average.
