Great place to play
Nice executive course layout with some challenging holes and easy holes so all can enjoy. A few bare spots on some greens, but otherwise excellent shape. Our foursome played in 1:45 and were probably the slowest on the course. I would definitely come back.
Good Bang for buck course
Course was in great shape; carts were clean and nicely featured. You'd think this course would be small/congested right in the city of Bolingbrook, but space/layout was managed really well. Course is "middle of the road" challenging. Will return for another round!
Course conditions
Except for the aerated greens, which was noted, I felt the course was in good condition. Some of the landscaped areas and trees need some attention. The front of the clubhouse doesn't look as good as it used to. I still feel it is a great course to practice and learn which is nice because there are so few around anymore at a fair price. Especially for folks who can't or don't play frequently but still want a challenge.
Boughton Ridge GC
Overall, course was in very good condition. Greens had been aerated recently, so they had holes, filled with sand. Not unusual for this time of year. Makes for better greens overall.
Very impressed
Haven’t played there in a couple years, took our grandkids there and it’s a great course for them! Ate afterwards and the food was delicious!!!!
Need more golf carts
The starter should NOT allow single riders, if they don't have enought carts to go around. The customers are often waiting until the last minute to get a cart. You cannot relax and enjoy the experience.
Didn’t honor the GolfNow pricing.
This course has potential but the Pro shop needs help.
She didn’t honor the GolfNow pricing although I showed her in the app what was included. She just refused to listen.
So I paid the extra because I had my ten year old daughter with me and didn’t want to make her wait any longer.
Slow Play
Had a group of highschool/young adult golf team in front of me.
Claimed they were playing a scramble. Slowed entire course down.
Worst part was it wasn’t booked on GolfNow so for all I knew the entire course should have been wide open. Instead I am behind 8 of the slowest golfers and 2 coaches who clearly don’t teach golf etiquette.
The ranger responded to my complaint as “what do you want me to do?”
Perhaps set a pace of play? Or actually book out the tee times so people know what they are getting into next time.
Will not be returning.
