Big Run Golf Club

I had a really great time. Can't wait to play it again. No real complaints just wished the cart paths could have been nicer. And the elevations are to die for, amazing elevations. Try it and you will like it.

Heard great things about this course and knew it’s been around for a while. All of that went out the window after about the first 3 holes.

This was easily the worst course value I’ve seen in a long time given the cost. $80 to play 18 with terrible greens, soggy bunkers full of water, run down infrastructure, and just overall poor maintenance. City courses for half the price are a million times better value, and they actually seem to care about the course. We had heard great things and were very disappointed in the end result.

While there were some positives about the course, they were completely overshadowed by the endless list of improvements that they seem to not care to make.

I was skeptical playing this course at first after seeing some of the reviews, but this has to be one of my favorite courses now. I love the layout; the course is long but fair because the fairways are extremely wide. It’s very cool scenically. While the clubhouse may be outdated, the course makes up for it. I already scheduled another tee time and can’t wait to play again. Side note, the burgers at the turn were money.

Course in substantially better condition than a few years prior. Course plays long and rough was traditionally deep. Rough now shorter and easier to find wayward shots. Maybe contributes to less slow play. A few years ago 5 1/2 hour rounds the norm. Five 2025 rounds have been 4-4 1/2. Plays long too due to layout and terrain. Always challenging.
