The Prairies of Cahokia Golf Course

Bob was wonderful and super attentive! Bunkers were a little rough but from the driving range to the 9th tee we had a blast! Definitely coming back

Beautiful day for golf. Tee boxes were in need of repair. Fairways and rough was no difference. I did not lose any balls though. Tyger greens were in really good condition and were holding good. Speed was nice on the greens. Course offered some challenging holes. I enjoyed the round despite some of the conditions. I will play there again

This course is fun to play. The tee boxes were in poor condition. The fairways and rough were about the same height. I didn't lose any balls so that was good. Leaves are accumulating on some holes. The germs were in good condition and were quick. Overall good putting.

Layout of this course was ok.

Pace of play was generally ok.

Greens were ok, at least alittle better than Indian mounds.

Fairways could very much use some work.

Fairways, first cut, and rough was all about the same length.

Tee boxes on black and gold were ok, could use a cut.

White tee boxes were in rough shape.

Glorified Indian mounds course at best.

This course was not worth the money we paid. It was very unkept and in disappointing condition.

Owner was very rude and talked to me and my buddy like we were stupid when we asked for help. I do not recommend this course.

The owner of this course was very rude. We booked a tee time for 18 holes and we got there and he only allowed us to play 9. Me and my buddy didn’t mind but we got confused when the course when from hole 4 to 9. He rushed us off the course and when we explained that we got lost on the course, he started talking to us like we were stupid. The owner of this course was very rude and I do not recommend supporting this course.

Course was great. Booked an early morning tee time and played by myself. Would recommend and would play again.

They weren’t lying! And not just water on the course, you need to choose clubs wisely and know your yardage, or hit straight! Fun little course, bunkers were left for dead, greens need some work. They had been watered though.

Municipal owned so they have to cut some things.

I recommend if you like playing different courses.

The best part is the greens are in great shape, however the rest of the course could benefit from being mowed and cleaned up. Example high grass in tee boxes. Hard to distinguish rough from fairway at times.

Course is managed by the city. I'm pretty sure the city has no mowers. The greens were decent, but bumpy. Tee boxes: crazy tall grass, unless there was no grass, at all. Fairways: most were a tall as a good course's rough.

Sand traps: look like they were abandoned when Jimmy Carter was president.

Layout was decent. Has some neat holes.

Overall condition had us saying we'll never come back, but never is a long time. According to our random we were paired with, the course is actually getting better 👀 I'm glad we didn't see it when it was worse.
