Nice day
Course is a little beat up, but ok. Pace of play just horrible. A twosome and a five some in front of our foursome. Never any Marshall’s on this course, which I think would help.
Fun 9 hole course
staff and patrons were really friendly. Course in good shape would play here again.
This was the most beautiful golf trip ever
The fella at the pro shop named miles rittenhouse was possible the nicest pro shop worker I have ever interacted with. This was not just a good round. It was a full beautiful experience.
Been awhile
Had not played at this 9 hole course in almost 15 years. Greens were in good shape for this time of year and the fairways were decent also. Have added a driving range and changed the layout on a few holes. With all the rain it was cart path only which is totally understandable. The cart path needs a lot of work pretty much throughout the course, otherwise a nice course to play.
Fun!
Really nice layout with a variety of teeing grounds and distances to play from. Can be played as a par three or regulation round. Interesting architecture. Long, accurate hitters will dominate this course. One of my go-to courses to play with my 90 year old father. Loads of unrepaired pitch marks. If everybody would just fix 1 or 2 on each green there wouldn't be any!! Nice practice range and green.
A Round with the Fam
Nice nine hole round on a beautiful November day. My 90 year old Dad and my daughter played in our threesome. Appreciated the forward tees for them. Lots of teeing options if you choose to play twice around for an 18 hole round. Tees were in excellent condition, greens were nice but pocked with unrepaired ball marks. Very nice layout and routing with a interesting features. Overall a well maintained facility.
Beautiful
I played this course because I heard that Forest Park is the most beautiful city park in the country. It did not disappoint.
Highlands on 9/29/24
Always fun to golf at The Highlands. Greens and fairways were in very good shape. Golf cart broke and staff rushed out with a replacement.
Rain has been very tough on the asphalt cart paths.
