Nice 9 hole muni
Meadowlark is a nice 9 hole municipal golf course. In the winter time, expect a lot of mud, snow and goose droppings, but still plenty of playable fairway. Great course to walk with plenty of challenges (trees, water, other golfers). In the summer time, it gets packed, and on line pre-registration is a must.
Course was in pretty good shape for the middle of January. A lot of goose feces around greens overall though no complaints
Good course for the money
A good quick 9 hole course that was in good shape for the start of January. Could use a little more signage as the 2nd and 5th holes overlap so started to play 2nd but finished on the 5th green
Warzone
There was so much bird matter I find it unlikely any bird in DuPage County will have to relieve itself again within the next calendar year. OSHA is not doing its job unless it condemns the grounds immediately. Please keep you and yours safe with this mortar field calmly resting in the middle of our beloved community.
Good forest preserve course
Got right out no slow down removed lot of dead trees which makes it more playable

Round would have been fine except that one person in my group lagged behind because he was on the phone constantly.
Replay was great, though.
A little too slow
Sorry but I lose my rhythm when I have to wait too long between shots. Some of the golfers here have no clue.
Finally fast!
What a difference! Had the whole course to myself and played in an hour and a half or less. Paired last week with a couple players who didn't care if everyone waited and the course got backed up. Grubs have caused a lot of damage so play winter rules!
My group was too slow
Almost 3 hours for 9 is too long but when it's your group what do you do? I asked them to let a single on a cart play through but they said no. Nothing I did worked. Unless you have rangers, you can't get these idiots to follow pace of play.
Sorry, this time it was my fault.
1st time at Meadowlark
The course was in good shape with exception of one fairway was as dry and two greens were a little bumpy. I loved the couple dog leg holes which was a bit of challenge for the first time out. I definitely used a extra club or two which I normal don'tpull out of my bag. The staff was great and very friendly.
Pace slow, green slow
Three hours to play 9 is way too slow! And I played with an employee but we couldn't figure out who was causing the delay.
Also greens were very slow and not true. due to recent aeration.
