Good practice course for beginners
This is a good practice course for beginners as well as someone that has not played for a long time and wants to get back into the game.
Boring course
Course wasn’t really much to talk about pretty boring layout. Wasn’t it the best of conditions, tee boxes and greens were not all that well maintained. I thought course was pricey for what they offered. Plenty of other courses in better conditions and cheaper.
Good but slightly slow
Course is in good shape; greens are very fair. Pace of play was better than previous weeks but over 2 hours.
Slower and slower!
Something has to be done about pace of play. Over 2 and half hours for 9 holes is way too long. Everyone was complaining. I think a ranger did go out but it did not seem to help. I can't recommend until pace improves.
Too slow!
It took a little over 2 hours but it seemed much longer. The groups ahead of us were 2 or more holes behind. They lingered near the greens and were never ready to hit. I can't keep recommending this course unless they can improve pace of play.
Great except pace of play
This is not the fault of the course. This is a long course and some people should play a par-3 instead. And then there are the idiots who play from the back tees but can't hit 150 yards. We kept waiting because the group ahead had to rest between holes and struggled to walk from their cart to their balls. During my second round, the group ahead hit from the back tees, causing them to hit into trouble, hit extra balls and extra strokes. Hit from the back tees if you drive 250, not 150.
Replay is the way
I actually played 9 in the morning and then later in the afternoon another 9.
Replay is $12, walking or riding, so it's a much better deal.
I was able to play alone and sometimes hit another ball when I was waiting. There are always people who don't play ready golf, fumble around after every shot.
Weekday pin placements can be tough here, so that's good,
Good course but usually slow
Greens are in great shape, fairways are okay with good roll. Pace of play today was okay, slightly slow but much better than usual.
