Links style course. Improving!
Greens and tees are in excellent condition. Work has been done on traps.
Course in great shape
The course is somewhat challenging to me because of the distance of some of the holes but it was in great shape, I will definitely play there again.
Improving Conditions
This links layout is improving daily with the care and maintenance it is currently receiving. The greens are in outstanding condition and the fairways are very nice. Bunkers are improving. A challenging round of golf!
Amazing Greens
This is definitely a links course, so if that's not your thing then it's not for you. But I personally love links and I couldn't believe how good of shape the course was in (especially compared to other public courses in the area), especially the greens! I'll definitely be back.
Quality conditions
This course is very well maintained. It plays well for any golfer with a few simpler holes as well as a few more difficult holes.
Golf in November
Wind, fall leaves, and the glare of the sun made it hard to find straying golf balls, but it is November. Still enjoyed the round.
Ok for the$
Nice Links course, price reasonable, Clubhouse & Amenities fair.
Making a comeback!
Played here Sunday. It was the best I've seen the course in several years. Fair ways were well maintained and wide. Rough was up and not as much hard pan areas as there usually is. Greens were fast as always and in great shape! Can't wait to get back out there next weekend!
Wide open
The Links is a fun course with quick greens. The courses wide open lay out provides opportunities to make up for poor Shots off the tee. My only complaint of the course is the condition of their bunkers. Most of the time they are like concrete. If you stay out of those it should be an enjoyable round.
Long rough
The course was in good shape. The rough around the greens was very long and did not allow for any approach shots from off the side of the greens.
Good value for the money
Got the $10 rate which further enhanced the value for the money. Greens and fairways are in a good shape. Fairways are wide open which I often like. Fast pace of play. Layout of the course was very basic overall. I would go back.
Never disappointed
Have played this course a lot over the years and it has gone from a treeless track of converted farmland to one of the most challenging tracks around. Wind always blows and direction seems to change hole to hole. Greens are great but keep it below the hole or risk longer come back than the putt you were attempting. Only thing that prevents five star ratings is condition of bunkers. This has always been problem here, a problem that has been addressed by removing numerous traps and replacing them with grass bunkers. The program has helped a lot but the bunkers are still to be avoided at all costs and playing from some of them in some groups is optional. All things considered, this is a great place to play. Keith Ward and his staff take good care of you and the course. Recommend it without hesitation.
