Jackson Country Club

The greens were aerated recently but still eked true. Fairways were in good shape. Beautiful day to play. I was first on the course at 8:30.

Leaves everywhere but over all a great day and course

Well done grounds keeping crew! Staff was mega friendly and made a killer Bloody Mary.

The golf course was closed. They had a private event. Not impressed with the app or its relationship to the golf course

I wasn't expecting much so as I played each hole I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape for as much rain as we have had in the past. Thanks to the Covid-19 scare they just like every other course I've played are not putting rakes or ball washers out. Jackson County did maintain their bunkers but without rakes it's impossible to play out of them. Good time was had by all that played today. Spot on.

paired up 5 fellows for 2 threecomes, very hospital members. Had just rained allowing a few wet spots bur didn't affect play. would play again when in the area.

Was told today 4/22/19 that future golf now t times would not be honored!! What's up???

Wouldn't let us play the course because a golf scramble was scheduled for 12 and didn't want to give out any carts. They said they didn't like golf now

Everything was nice. Reservation no problem. Staff was excellent and courteous. We play again next time we're in the area.

Go to Crab Orchard. Overcharged us. The employee was rude. Pro shop was not open. Equipment was awful. Changed golf carts three times before teeing off on hole #1 due to faulty golf carts. Poor management due to not charging the carts. Worst experience we have ever had at a golf course. Never will play again and if your smart you won't either.

The best part of the course is that every hole is uniquely different in layout, ups and downs, trees and lakes lining the hole. As such, I felt fresh at the sight of each new hole. The last several holes (Nos. 13-17) are designed such that I felt I was playing in the middle of a mildly mountainous area. Finally and undeniably, the beautiful late October weather should have added to my favorability of the course. In conclusion, I strongly recommend this course to players of any level.

the course was in good shape and is a nice looking course. the staff is very courteous. the holes can be challenging and each hole give a different look. worth your time to play
