Bunkers need attention
Great course but the bunkers are gravel pits - they really bring the place down. I won't be back until the bunkers are better.

Always fun. Par 70 so don’t let yardage fool you. Over 1/2 holes very challenging. Need a little more attention for price tag. Cart paths, bunkers, ball marks. Overall pretty good conditions. Fun layout. Good staff. Good pace.
Solid
This track is solid. Fairways are nice, definitive cut between rough and fairway, greens roll nice. Everything is pretty straight on the front nine but the back nine offers a nice combination of water, tight fairways, and dog legs.
Not too challenging - Loud
Only negative was that we had a groundskeeper mowing on almost every hole, and they didn't stop for us to shoot. The greens were in really good shape, and the course itself was really fun. Lots of bunkers in play when approaching the greens. But the sand was very easy to hit out of, and kept up very well. A little on the pricier side for a round in the area. I would play the course again, but probably look for a deal to do so.
Tight but varied
Good variety of golf holes on a tight piece of land. Well conditioned with good greens.
Great little course
First time playing Willow Crest. Pleasantly surprised to see the difference in elevation and from the tips 6400+ yards par 70 provided a great challenge. Nice to see a course that’s fair, and penal when you stray off the tee. 5 OB off the tee today but still scratch out an 85. Definitely will be back with friends… probably won’t walk it next time.
Not worth the money first and last time playing.
Not worth the money first and last time playing. It takes a lot for me to be disappointed in a course. For starters the sand traps were as though they are concrete. They are very stiff and I hurt my wrist digging my wedges for my shot. The overall golf layout it was not the best, and the pace of play was terrible. They wedged and whoever they could put. We spent almost 3 hours on the front nine. I ended up leaving a few holes earlier because I could not tolerate the scores. If I could I would demand a refund.
Standing water in most bunkers - 4h 45min round
Green’s were well-maintained, friendly staff.
Rate of play was miserable. Stood on every box. Likely will not come back because of this.
