well maintained course
Oak Brook is very well maintained. The greens are lush and difficult. The layout is nice with some doglegs and short par 4s. The pace of play was pretty good. There is a nice range and chipping area, along with a nice putting green.
Worth Playing
The course can be a bit on the short side, but the layout and some interesting holes could surprise you. The course conditions are good, greens rolled true (have some interesting slopes on greens), fairway and tee boxes were manicured, traps were in ok condition as well. The range and chipping/putting area are nice and the Proshop, bar, outdoor patio, and restaurant area are very nice (I believe it was redone recently). The price was on par with other courses that are similar quality, perhaps cheaper in some cases. It is walkable if that’s your thing with most tee boxes located nearby the previous hole and no harsh elevation changes. I’ve played 2x here and enjoyed both rounds, I didn’t encounter any pace of play issues but I am sure you could get backed up on certain days like anywhere else. The course isn’t the most difficult by any means if your a solid golfer, but challenging enough to make you work. Definitely worth playing if you haven’t yet, solid track with good amenities.

Great track. Would be great if they had one more set of tees beyond the blues, but great course.

An excellent round of golf at a lovely facility. Nice driving range & club house.
Enjoyable
Course is in very good shape. Great clubhouse, good food, very pleasant. Just wish I could get better tee times.

2 rounds in the week
Nice course - they take good care. Tees, fairways, and greens in good condition. Challenging at spots but not impossible for all levels of golfer - preferably for those who play under 100 regularly.
I like the practice spaces they have - nice range, practice bunker, long strip of chipping and putting greens and another putting green for putting only. Clubhouse and patio are very nice as well.
Only gripe is it's a bit pricey for what it is so I only play when I get a hot deal.

Wednesday afternoon golf? Yes, lets play 5+ hours.
They actively pack as many people onto this course as possible and it was not enjoyable. We skipped the last hole out of annoyance, and we were not they only ones.
Would not return.
