Great For Practice
This Par 30 is great for practice, or any newbies that want to take the next step up from a par 3 course. It offers a few chances to pull out the driver, and is fairly wide open. I also thought conditions were pretty good considering the winter we had.
Great course for newbies and moderate golfers
I went out with my brother and had a great time. Not an overly challenging course but a fun one to play. First 3 holes are par 4's and the last 6 holes are par 3's. Rounds early in the morning take around 1.5 hrs to complete and later in the day can take longer if the course is crowded.
Will return to play in the future.
Looking for a quick 9 holes?
Look no further. No it's not challenging, but it might just give you a little boost of confidence like it did for me. Open and forgiving it's a great little par 4 & par 3 course. Got a great GolfNow deal and hooked up with a family of three (3) for a great 1.5 hour round. I'll be back.
quick 9
Coure was in good overall condition. Starts off with three 300+ yard holes followed by six short holes. All holes are pretty wide open. Only one hole has water hazard and a few holes have bunkers spread around. Pro shop is small and carts available. No range, but has 2 ok practice putting greens. Great value for the money.
Close to home
I was home this weekend and had a 7:21am tee time. I went up at 6:40am and they were able to set me up with a threesome that was on the 1st tee box. The greens were maintained and the pace of play was good. If I want to get a quick 9 or 18 in, and close to home in Darien, I come here.
Value and Variety
This course is a nice stop for a quick round of nine. It offers three 300+ yd holes to start, with the rest being a variety of different length par 3s, offering a chance to use many of the clubs in your arsenal.
Very nice little 9-hole course.
For a 9-hole course --I was impressed. Was in very nice shape, and not just all 100 yard par 3's like most.
Very Slow Play
Over 2 1/2 hours to play a VERY short course. People driving off of the white tees could only make it to the red tees.
It will challenge your short game with these par 3s
First time playing this course, very nice and I will come again a couple of time this summer.
A fun nine
I play here if I want to get in a quick practice round. Much more fun than hitting balls at the range for the same price. There are three par 4s and the rest are par 3 holes of varying length. There is enough elevation change, water and sand to keep it interesting, despite the short overall yardage.
I brought a beginner with me and the course was perfect for her. Gave a great feel for the game, but still manageable.
Great value for the time of the year. Will continue to play course as a learning tool, and work on my own game, which needs help.
A quick 9
This course has 3 par 4's and 6 par 3's, all of which do not present any particularly difficult challenge. If you are looking to get in a quick 9, this course suits just fine.
Good little tune up course
Great little 9 hole course for the money tucked away off 63rd Street in Westmont. Not in the best of shape due to the drought this year, but not as bad as some other 'nicer' 18 hole courses in the area. Great place to go when they have their GolfNow discounts running.
