Great Course for Quick Round
Wanted to get a quick round in that was a little longer and challenging than city course I usually play and CG is where I like to go. Cannot beat the price!
3 out of 5 Stars
The greens are extremely slow, it’s as if you’re putting on carpet. The pace of play and the restaurant below the pro shop are definitely a plus. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.
Worth the price
Was the cheapest bang for my buck. Some good reviews, some bad. The course was exactly what you’d expect to pay for $25 and 18 holes. Office guy was a great dude. Helped us figure our way around and let us switch around in order to be more comfortable on the course. Fairways are shorter than most, bunkers are junk, idiots riding their bikes down the cart lanes. But all in all it was worth every dime. 10/10 would play again but don’t moan and complain when it’s not you’re $100 country club.
Great value
Great little course! I played with my son and we were able to get 9 holes in about an hour and for less than $20! Course was in good shape and offered moderate challenge while being pretty forgiving. Definitely gonna go again soon!
Horrible condition
The grass was absurdly long, making it nearly impossible to play a decent round. It felt more like trudging through a jungle than enjoying a round of golf. Save your money and go elsewhere unless you enjoy losing balls in the overgrown rough. I also sadly lost 7 balls in the rough
Very nice place to play
This was a nice place to play. It was cut a little long in the tee boxes and the fairways. This was understandable because it had rained a lot recently, but this was the only negative. Nice layout for amateurs.
bad course
Rough is high. Lost 4 balls on a par 3 course. I think there sand traps-have no sand and weeds growing up, You need a driver to hit a putt. Hole 11 looks like bridge is damaged and has been that way for awhile. Don't waste your $ on this course.
Waste of money
I don’t know who would’ve rated this 4 stars. Definitively no one in the last 10 years at least. The course is not taken care of at all. The grass was so long it was ridiculous. The “bunkers” were just all dried up and filled with weeds. We stopped at the restaurant for a quick hot dog at 1130 and they weren’t going to be ready for another hour. Total waste of money and would never recommend to anyone. Plenty of other courses in Fort Wayne for the same price and much nicer!
Very pleased!
Very pleased with the course, was nice to visit such a nice course during our out of town visit.
