Greensburg Country Club

Very friendly people. Course in good shape. Layout is a little confusing and can cost some strokes the first time you play it. Played in less than 3 hours.

mixture of open and tight tee shots. First hole is a demanding shot and with the left to right downhill slop against a right to left dogleg, better bring your draw. par 4s on the front are long and hard. back nine is a tad easier, greees are always well kept adn roll is medium / fast most days, The tee markers colors don't always match the card, so I just play the back tees even though I'm a senior. the yellow tees take too mush of the course away from me

maintenance of course was pretty good. greens rolled well and some roll in fairways. signage still a problem particularly on back 9 holes. kudos to Curt for allowing me to go out early in front of an outing. played in 2 1/2 hours.

If you want to challenge your game, play this course. Course rating and slope will bear this out. Nice design, fairly tight fairways with mature trees lining many of them and smallish greens. Given all the recent rain, course was soft so it seemed to play extremely long. Was a great value via Golf Now, played on a Monday morning at a less than 4 hour pace of play and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend GCC as a nice change of pace.

We played Greensburg country club on Monday. The conditions were good considering the dry weather here in indiana. They had had a scramble in the morning in the pin positions were very difficult. Onnumber 18 we were all above the hole. Two of us putted it off the green. The greens were very fast. It was neat in a way but didn’t help our scores.

Had never played this course before and we were very pleasantly surprised. Played the blue tees (almost 6000 yards) and completed the round in just under 4 hours. Many challenging dogleg par 4s, the par 3s were long (one over 200 yards) and the par 5s were all legitimate distance. Greens and fairways were in very nice shape and the overall course conditions were well worth the drive. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this course to my friends.
