Pine Island at Pine View Golf Course

In short, I would not recommend this course to anyone. In more length, I have played almost every course from Valporaiso to Northern Indy, and sadly, Pine View has become one of the worst courses in the area. I dont enjoy giving negatives to courses that try and fail to improve. But in this case, there was no visible "try". The entire course is a mowed field. All weeds, sparse grass and dirt. You cannot tell the fairway from the rough and the majority of the greens were 30% bald or dead. Fairways were like hitting off of the cart path. Every trash can on the course was full, but only a few groups actually on the course. The staff was friendly and polite (which is the big reason for the 2nd star), however, the clubhouse looked very run down and smelled of mildew or wet carpet. I was very disappointed with the entire visit. It was obvious that no love is going into the care of this course. Some major attention is needed before I would consider playing here again.

It's my second time. It's funny course and it has good green condition.

Really not a bad layout. It's fun. The condition of the course was very rough by golf standards. Not a bad deal for the money but could be much better if it was taken care of. Could be much nicer.

Great course for the value, fun back 9 layout and enough distance from the tips for a challenge on the open holes. Course was wide open, drinks and range balls are cheap. Went back already this week. Best value on golf in the area! Check it out!

Course conditions are always good.

Walked in to the workers yelling at their child to sit down chill out etc. the course was in horrible shape. There was no Marshall so the 1st tee was backed up to where some people started on the 10th.
