Devou Park Golf Course

The course is challenging, it is impossible to walk for anyone thinking about it. The pace of plays slows on the back nine.

Entire course is in disarray. Tee boxes are dead with no even ground. Fairways are underwater and under repair with dead grass. No practice greens but half the greens are cut down and the rest shaggy so speed is inconsistent. There needs to be a warning about the course conditions and the green fees are not anywhere close to reasonable for what you get. Pace of play was atrocious with no starter making sure groups went out on time. Needs some major improvement before I ever consider playing here again.

The front 9 was closed which has the holes with the view. I picked this course for that and I didn't get to play it. That was my only slight. The staff was amazing the course was great. Prices were good. I just really wanted to play the holes with the skyline view. I didn't get to. I will be going back for sure.

Devou Park Golf Course isn't the longest course you will ever play but it certainly knows how to challenge you. The layout is beautiful, and you are surrounded by lush forest, giant trees and changes in elevation on nearly every hole. Only a few mins from downtown Cincinnati, you will also be treated to some of the best views of Cincinatti and the surrounding area from many of the holes. My compliments to the greenskeeper - the fairways and greens were immaculate!! Definitely found my home course!

Every hole is up or down and rarely do you get a flat lie!! Lots of slope on every hole that has to be accounted for. Course was in great shape and with playing a few times would be more pleasant!!!!!

Relatively a short course, just one par 5 and three par 3s, with most holes either down hill or up hill.

Greens are in good condition, but fairways need more watering and some tee boxes need maintenance.

Thunder canceled our back 9. We were unable to continue. How do I go about getting a raincheck?

Love this course. It’s very short tipping out around 6000 yards for a par 70. It defends itself with tight fairways and blind shots. It forces you to play less than driver on the majority of holes or you can end up on brutal spots. The course was in great condition, the greens were a little slow but very healthy otherwise.

First time here. Since the moment I got there I was treated really well by all the staff.

As in other reviews , challenging course. For me the holes 4,5 and 6 were the most challenging, the back nine are easier.

Bring balls because several will be missed.

Will be back and I recommend it.

Tight track, very hilly but lots of fun! Can score low if you play it correctly! Will play again next time I visit Cincinnati!
