Great fun, relaxing, enjoyable course
I played this course this past weekend and I really enjoyed my time out there. I am a relatively new golfer and I am always stressed out by the pace of play at most of the Wichita golf courses. When I showed up to pretty prairie, the staff were very friendly and engaging. The course itself has a great layout, is the right amount of challenging, and you are never pushed for pace by other golfers. The course may not be in Augusta National level conditions, however what it lacks in extremely smooth fairways, it makes up with it’s peaceful scenery and passionate course workers. It is the perfect course for entry to medium level golfers who are looking for a course to hone their skills without the stress of having to play fast or with complete strangers. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
A course that has potential.
The wife and I went to play here to try it out. The course has a good layout and enough length to be a fun challenge. Hopefully the new owners can get the course into decent condition. Fairways were pretty bare and need a lot of work. Greens are pretty good sized and are in playable condition but could be better. Overall I would play again if they can get the fairways in good condition. I realize that is a big job considering that the course doesn’t have a sprinkler system in them. Hopefully Mother Nature helps them out with it because the course has good potential. At the moment I think the price is high considering the current conditions but it is a decent layout.
Great to pace yourself
Great course to work on different lies. Course is rugged, which is a different pace. I like it. Very open as well. Wind gets pretty tough at times.
Loved this course
This course was not as easy as I thought it would be. Nice greens that are challenging great shape. I really loved the course, I’ll be back.
