Golfer Reviews
Hidden Gem
This was the first time playing The Crossings and it didn’t disappoint. I played solo and finished 18 in just over two hours. The fastest I’ve ever played 18 holes.
The layout was pretty nice.. fairways were in good shape.. the rough was deep, so thankfully for once I kept the ball in the fairway often. A couple of the greens on par 3’s were small and a little intimidating but I managed to keep it close.
Most of the greens were in good shape, the tee boxes were in good condition, but some of the surrounding terrain was a little sketchy in some areas. You need to pay attention when driving the cart because there are plenty of potholes and uneven terrain and other obstacles to avoid but thankfully not necessarily on the holes themselves.
I really enjoyed the round and will be back! The staff was helpful and nice, the other golfers were also very friendly and two groups let me play through which helped speed up my round.
Straight Shots pay off
Well groomed fairways and greens that reward the straight shots. If you get in the rough you may have a long day.
Average Course
Average Course Good pace of play,Would play again.
Nice staff, but course is a mess
If your looking for an on the go quick practice round.... its ok. But $38 for 18 and a cart... no way... not in the condition this place is kept. T- Boxes were all weeds and hard as concrete, fairways all weeds no grass with holes everywhere.
Greens.... the only thing positive was they were actually green in color. Very hard, tiny, and poorly maintained.
To be honest the property is very scenic, but it appears to have fallen victim to poor management and 0 grounds keeping. Even the cart paths were terrible, might as well been driving a UTV to cover all the holes and canyons of the destroyed cart paths.
No practice range, putting, or chipping.
Work in Progress
They have a way to go, but they are working on this course. Weather, age, and use have taken a toll on this course, but it is still a fun place with great people.
Construction, large amounts of deterioration of the cart path, and just coming out of some serious rains make things a little brutal, but a good day anyway.
Great environment
Course is great for the value. And it’s lay out is good for all levels of golfers
Needs a TON of work. Would not play again
This course needs years of work. Almost no grass in fairways. Back 9 interesting but front boarding.
Good Layout - Lush Crabgrass
People were helpful and friendly.
Course layout was good.
Needs some work. Crabgrass everywhere. Greens were in fair shape. Could be a really good course with some improvements.
Had a 2-some in front of us. They weren’t very good and wouldn’t let anyone thru. Not the courses fault, just an expected occurrence at public courses.
I will play it again.
Good value...
Good value. Nicely laid out 18 holes of golf. Slow pace of play. Greens are slower and have some overgrowth along the edges.
We played right after the grass was cut so lots of grass patches that hadn't been blown off yet.
