Perfect experience
I played coal park for the first time. The staff the girl working the desk and the guy who oversaw her were amazingly nice and very helpful. I would go back just because of how they treated me. The course was good very respectful players on the course.
Nice course, but it is an Army base, so be prepared to go through security.
Cole Park Golf Course is a hidden gem! The entire course is impressively well maintained—especially the fairways and greens, which were in top-notch condition during my round. The rough was a bit tall, but that just added an extra layer of challenge and made for a more strategic game.
The front nine really stands out, with the hills adding both a physical and mental test—hole #3 in particular is a real beast if you’re walking, but it’s also one of the most rewarding. The layout keeps things interesting throughout.
A special shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and eager to assist with anything I needed. You can tell they take pride in the course and it shows in every detail.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Cole Park is absolutely worth a round. I’ll definitely be back!
Bang for Buck
All things considered, it’s a great place to play.
Turned away for being 3 minutes late
Make sure to check in with the military post at gate seven before you get there. We did not know that we had to check in before so once we did we ended up being 3 minutes late to our tee time and the club house manager was very rude and told us he couldn’t get us out for another 3 hours because we were late so we just drove an hour back home. Course seemed nice but ruined by customer service.
Great value
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. I’m in my 70s and was visiting the area. I paired up with 3 young soldiers and I had a great time. These young men were gentlemen and a tribute to the U.S. Army.
The course is pretty much tree lined on all the fairways and there is a lot of elevation changes. The tee boxes and greens were in great shape. The fairways were rather thin. The rough was punishing if you missed the fairway.
This is a military installation, so, you need to work out a pass in advance. This can be done on line or by going to the post visitor center in advance.
All was great. The only major problem is that GolfNow did not instruct members of GolfNow how to get to the golf course. This course is on Ft. Campbell Military Base and the only way to get on is to go to the security gate 7 to get a pass onto base. GolfNow needs to place these instructions onto the site when reserving.
Excellent Course and Value
Had a great time. Course is in great condition. Great pace of play.
How can you rate with so many "poors" that you never experienced being that you never set foot on the grass..?
