Same ol' place
It's been a long time since I have played here. The par 3's are still a bear, some tough par 4's and the par 5's are reachable. The fairways still haven't grown in from the harsh winter and the greens were hard when receiving a chip but slow to putt (not a good combo in my opinion). The recent rains prevented the rough from being mowed; it is definitely juicy and thick.
Nice course
Nice challenging course, open with some hills and water
The golf course value was good. The staff were more than hospitable
For the value it isa nice course. It would be a great course if some of the holes were not a little quirky, especially the back nine holes. I understand if you have to make short golf holes if you do not have the land acreage, and thier is more than enough, but I don't understand if you can hit the ball further on some holes that you have to lay up to 170 yards away from the green ie: hole 9 and 18. I would like to know who designed the course because I probably would not play thiergolf course again. Still, overall not a bad layout but as I memtioned earlier could have been a great layout. Last thought, if you play the back tees all of the holes are the same distance 210-230 should have a litte more variety. Cheers
