Not sure what has happened
This used to be one of the nicer courses around not so much this year but the price is right and still ok and they have pro shop that actually carries golf equipment one of the few in the area that actually does.
Nothing Special
Nice muni but pretty easy to navigate
Fairways were long and had some weed issues, green were hairy which resulted in slower, unpredictable putts.
Worth the money, used GN and came from Nashville area.
More Clover than Crimson
The clover in the rough, and in some fairways, make it difficult to find golf balls, even if you hit less than 10 feet off the fairway. I can understand if it's way off the fairway, but adjacent is just too much. I even lost a ball after a straight drive on 17.
Fantastic Value
Course Conditions are far from perfect, but, the course layout is so awesome to play, elevation holes were also awesome. Great value tho if you are looking to practice shots or run your buddy his pockets.

Back Nine Closed
I was not informed by anyone when I made the reservation that the back nine was closed for aeration until I arrived at course. After finishing front nine, was going to play front again but there were 16 carts ahead of me (senior group) so I was only able to play nine holes.

My home course
I love this course. It is not the hardest, nicest, or anything like that. It's just a nice course with amazing staff. The location is convenient for me also.
Great course for the money
Course layout is decent, weather wasn’t fantastic but I’ve played the course in prime conditions and they do a good job with the overall maintenance. Overall, I enjoy this easy course with minimal danger, some tight fairways and blind tee shots but nothing crazy. A couple real scenic holes make it a fun place. For the price, it’s really worth it.
What a gem
Groundskeepers deserve praise for this one. Course was in excellent condition. Price is right for me, and their youth on course affiliation makes it perfect for my son. The Marshalls and staff are all top quality service industry professionals and I will be bringing my business to Western Hills as often as possible.
