My first and favorite golf course.
This is my home course. Best golf and price around and I highly recommend.
Is this guy serious?!
I felt like I was being punked... the pro shop staff (male) was a grade A jerk to everyone he came in contact with, I saw him interact with at least 8 customers throughout the day and he was completely condescending and rude to everyone! The round rook 5 HOURS?! There were multiple 2 somes no paired up together and the Marshall was driving around and doing nothing about it. 1st and last time playing at this train wreck of a golf course, such a shame because it looks like it has potential. The fairways and bunkers completely overrun with weeds, there was no sand, only dirt and weeds in the traps. The icing on the cake was the guy at the front counter treating everyone as if they were invading his personal golf course and they shouldn't be there. I will not return and everyone I talk to will know to stay far far away from this terrible experience of a golf course that could've been good.

From start to finish it was torture... front counter staff (male) was extremely rude and condescending, he had smart comments to say to everyone who walked in and made them all feel like they were invading his personal golf course and they shouldn't even be there. The Marshall was nice but did absolutely nothing to help the horrendous pace of place. 5 HOURS!??!! To play a round of golf?!.!.! There were 2 somes out there all over not paired up and we had to wait 10-30 minutes to hit every tee shot and nothing was done about it. They won't ever have to worry about the 4 of us coming back to that train wreck of a golf course. It was pitiful, staff, course conditions, amenities... if I could give it 0 stars I would.
Interesting holes Good condition
Several holes are straight forward what you see is what you get. NOT all holes. Blind drives. Deep valleys water and very tempting par 5s.
People were great. Fun and challenging.

Nice course, for the cost it’s really good and pace wasn’t bad for a holiday. If in town, I’d play again.
Once a hidden gem!
The first time I played this course 3-4 years ago, I deemed it a hidden gem. Every time I have come back it's gotten a little worse. This time was bad. Crab grass has taken over the course right up to the greens. Weeds in the fairways and the bunkers have been left to die all season. Full of weeds. It's a city course so not sure what's going on here, Sad cause it's a fun place to place and reasonably prices. Hope they turn it around. Won't be back until they do.
It's improving...
Love playing this course. It has just reopened after a complete redo of the greens which were getting bad under the previous management. I scratched it off the list of places to place when the course got in bad shape, but new owners have made some nice improvements, and it looks to be coming back! Not quite worth the money yet but it will be!
Great course with a little more maintenance
The layout is fun and challenging. Priced right where it should be. The grass is is in great shape, but they wait too long to mow it. There’s dead grass clumps everywhere and the grass was so tall this time that you couldn’t find your balks driving right over them in the first cut of rough.

First time at Western
Overall the course was fun to play on. I was a little disappointed in some areas of the course. I believe hole eight did not have a fairway. The last 150 yards to the green were rough. I cannot believe I'm going to complain about bunkers, but most of them were full of mud and most still had standing water in them.
Where’s the glizzy?
The last couple times I have played this course there wasn’t any food available other than snacks. Having hot dogs available at the turn would make for much better experience. Golfers shouldn’t have to wonder if they need to pack a lunch before starting a round. The course is wonderful to play and is always in great condition! Greens roll very true and you can’t beat the price when buying the deal of the day off golf now.

Sweet Spot
Very nearly and convenient golf course if you live in the proximity. Rarely crowded, and easy to get T-times. The course itself is comparatively good as compared with other sites around Clarksville & Hopkinsville. There’s a few minor things that need help with but it’s product of the most recent windstorm in the area. The course’s challenge if you’re playing for first time, but nothing to worries about if you have an golf app downloaded in your phone. I like it a lot and recommend you to give it a shot and then reply back.
