Many courses in our area have longish fairway grass early in the Spring, especially when there has been a lot of rain.
There are two holes on each green to reduce wear and tear on the greens because of being a 9 hole course. After you finish putting, you put the flag stick in the hole you didn't use. That way the next group uses that one.
You should give Sleepy another try now that summer is here. I think your opinion will change.
