Slow play, but in great shape
The course is in fantastic shape. It is a great value for the course. The only issue us that they need some rangers to deal with slow play. We had a foursome and a threesome right in front of us (young kids) played extremely slow and never let us play through. It took us 5 hours to play 18 due to this group.
great course
Good condition but some greens are really difficult
Everything good
Good green condition. Nice course and fairway
Friendly staff.
nice course
it is not boring ..not too flat.. it's just the right amount of adventure...fairways green condition is excellent!!
Should be called Rolling Greens
Drove somewhat out of my way to play this course and was not disappointed. Paired up with a former high school player and his adorably cute son so I had some insight to course management. Staff was extremely friendly and very gracious and appreciative that I came out of my way on my trip to Pinehurst to play their course. Greens were challenging to say the least. Had fun and totally enjoyed my round!!! Go play if you have a chance!!!!
Well worth playing
I've played here a few times. Greens are smaller, challenging, fast and in terrific shape. Great job to the superintendent! Fairways weren't perfect, but I'll sacrifice for such nice greens. Course is a classic style course with trees, hills and doglegs which I love. It is well worth playing!
great shape
the course was in great shape for this time of the year
Exceeded my expectations
We'll maintained course, great value, tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent shape especially with a dry summer.
A Nice Deal at a Nice Course
I've played at Rolling Hills several times this year and it only seems to get better each time. These folks obviously try very hard to keep the course in top shape. The greens are always true and slightly harder/quicker than any place nearby, which I love. The fairways and tee boxes are the perfect length.
We tend to play early mornings during the week and there is never a wait. I don't recall any round lasting 4 hours.
The staff is welcoming and very accommodating.
A practice range and green are conveniently located. The clubhouse is nothing fancy, but has a great assortment of equipment, balls, tees, gloves, snacks, etc.
You can often find tee times for $10-13 which as an absolute steal! Even the regular rate of $25 is a bargain.
Rolling Hills has a few challenging, risk-reward holes but is very fair and fun for all playing levels. I'll see you there!
Good price
It was the weekend and crowded, but course was nice and play wasn't slowed too bad because of the crowd. Overall a good experience.
Great course
Rolling Hills is a very nice course. It is one of my favorites for the area. Very reasonable difficulty. It's a little on the long side. Very good price.
I would recommend to friends.
Fun Times
It is a Country Course with deceptive depth that makes it more difficult than anyone would imagine. But it is so peaceful that everyone feels good about the experience.
For the fall of the year, the course was in great shape. Saw much grooming of the course during play.
Rolling Hills has a great layout. Well maintained. Greens were undulatingly fast and challenging. It's a fair course that makes you want to come back and play it again. Highly recommended- Mike T.
Sllllooooowwwww
Had to wait approximately 7-10 minutes at every tbox. They really need to evaluate their t time situation. Not the first time this happened. Seems like if you don't play at 7:30 am then u have to wait to play every shot
One of my favorite courses!
This course is great! It's very well kept greens are great! The staff is great and make it super easy for golf now reservations! 11 am is a perfect time to play bc the morning rush is gone and you can play without people all over you! I drive 30 minutes quite often to play here! The driving range is great as well!
Had a great time
The course was great. Rough was fair and greens in great shape!
Played 36 holes
Since I got such a good rate with the GolfNow app, I played that tee time and then, played a second time.
This is a Great Course for the $
Some of the fairways were in need of mowing, but greens were in great shape and very challenging. Great value for the money. $5 replay rate for the rest of the day! WOW! Played on Memorial Day and was on and off in 3.5 hours.
Great course for the money!
This was a great course for the cost. Friendly staff was just a plus. They even let us play an additional 9 holes for $5. I will definitely be making a return to Rolling Hills.
