Nice course!
First time to play this course! Course in pretty good shape considering its mid November. Good value for this time of year. Only 2 cons...1) 18th hole runs right along the driving range. had to dodge a couple of errant shots off the driving range & if you are playing a yellow ball you are screwed trying to find it. 2) they need to put more signs up directing you where to go for the next tee. Thank goodness we played with a couple who had played the course before. Otherwise it was a fun day! Will play this course again!
Great day
Two 4ism in front of us were taking way to long. Had to finally call club house and have Marshall come out. Almost 5 hours is way to long to take. Had to wait on every hole
Excellent Conditions and Weather, Marshal Needed
I've played this course numerous times, and it is always in good shape. Generous fairways give most players a chance to score.
The only complaint this time is pace of play. Tee times were running behind about 20 minutes. It took us 4-1/2 hours to finish, and we played #18 in twilight. There were still 2 or 3 groups on the course when we finished. Would like to see a marshal on the 1st tee to make sure everyone is teeing off when they are supposed to.
Fun Course
First time playing here. Course played very fair, with a couple of short par 4's and par 5's that were all reachable in 2. The greens were in great shape. The pace of play was fine. I'll definitely be back.
Good bang for the buck
The golf course is in good shape. Green fee’s are reasonable and staff is friendly. No problem getting a tee time.
Fun course
Always in great shape. Not overly challenging but also not a walk in the park either. Can’t think of a better course for the money.
COULD NOT PLAY WHOLE COURSE
Only front 9 was open. There really should be a red flag on Golf Now before booking. For this reason alone I not go back.
Well maintained and challenging
Perfect day to play, but that meant a crowded course. Pace of play slow at 4.5 hours, but worth the wait. Greens and Fairways in great shape.
Kenny Powers or Kenny Perry, both are bad as it wants to be!
Awesome course, great lay out, open fairways, plush greens. Coming from SoCal, this course was a treat, keep it in the fairways and you’re golden. The only downfall, it’s in a dry county, which was a new thing for me, but a round with out beers resulted in an 89, so I can’t complain.
Nice course
Very nice course but they overbooked on tee times so was very slow play.
25 years of golf, never waited on every single shot until today...
This course is well kept, the staff is friendly enough and the layout is pretty average, not bad, not unique. The pace of play is abysmal! Absolutely horrid. They overbooked by leaps and bounds. I understand wanting to make as much money as possible, I’m in service sales, trust me, I get it, but today was just completely out of control bad and you don’t make money at the expense of decimating your product. I have never in my life of 25 years playing golf waited on every single shot, until I went to Kenny Perry today, for the first time. We were out there trying to get my mind off an extremely fresh family tragedy and the waiting just did the opposite of what I was trying to accomplish. Not their fault obviously, as they had no idea but I just can’t wrap my head around why they think packing the course that tight would offer anyone an enjoyable experience. Our group’s typical round is usually 3-3.5 hrs so a 5+ hour round is just unacceptable. We drove from Nashville expecting so much better, we won’t make that trek again. I wouldn’t recommend this place after our experience for the first time today.
One of My Favorites
Always an enjoyable round of golf at KPCC. The course conditions are consistent from year to year. Soft, receptive bentgrass greens and plush Bermuda fairways. The only concern at this facility is pace of play. A ranger roamed the course but did nothing to coerce the slow foursome in front of us on the back nine (a group of youngsters who were more interested in drinking than playing golf). Played the front 9 in 1 hour, 45 minutes; took 2 hours, 20 minutes on the back.
Kenny Perry GC
Clubhouse closed down due to Covid so you check in through the front window but you are allowed to use the restrooms, no problem for me. Course is kinda funky with a good mix of holes and a couple of forced carries, conditions were good and the greens putted smooth medium speed. Recommend.
Great place to golf
Greens still in great shape. Good course to play right off the interstate. 45 minutes from Nashville
