Terrible Value
Love this course layout but for the amount they charge I would expect the greens & tee boxes to be in much better shape. Fairways were in great shape, but several tee boxes & greens were in bad shape. It also has always really aggravated me that the #18 fairway is covered with range balls every time I play here. Again, if you’re going to charge as much as you do, you can afford to put up a net to keep range balls off the fairway. I’ve seen far inferior courses do a better job with this. They either need to step up their game or lower the price.
Very slow play
Greens were not in good shape at all. I will say the fairways were in really good condition. In front of us about 10-12 group of kids playing and once we caught them it took forever. We would wait 15-20 min on every tee box and on every approach shot. We finally just went back to the parking lot and left after 14 holes
Great course for the money
Kenny Perry’s has always been a lot cheaper than most golf courses around Nashville area. They really upgraded the facility. The fairways and grains are an excellent shape.

Fairways are in the best shape I have seen on this course.
Course is underneath new management
The courses will maintain now and getting better.Every time we go will be returning

For the money, this course is in great shape. They are renovating their watering system. But are almost finished with the repairs and upgrades
Tee boxes and greens
Tee boxes were so hard you could barely get a tee in the ground. Greens had burned spots with pits filled with sand.

Decent
Greens were not as pristine as usual. Also, bought a $30‘Hot Deal’ tee time but charged an extra $10 for carts. $40 not bad but a little bait and switch by the ole GolfNow. If I could rate GolfNow it would be 1-star. Customer support is outsourced to the other side of the world and basically they just hang up on you over and over. Anyway, Kenny Perry’s is usually a good time but might need to wait for the greens to recover some.
Complaint I had. The redheaded guy running the front desk on this day should not be up there. Very rude pretty much told us whatever we asked him oh well. Basically if you can't handle that job shouldn't be doing it. Other than that I love the course I love the layout I'll definitely be back

Not Country Friendly
This is the second time someone in my group has had issues with pro shop being either rude or not helpful. I would not discourage anyone from playing there, but the staff is hit or miss.
Rough shape and slow pace
As a higher handicapper, I usually really enjoy playing this course. This instance was not the case unfortunately. Kenny did a great job making this course accessible, fun, and inviting to the average golfer. I have enjoyed it many times, in the last nearly 2 decades. On this day the course was very damaged by the heat and drought. I’m not sure if it’s irrigation, labor force or other factors I’m not aware of. But the greens were damaged and baked out. Some tee boxes, including par 3, 6th, were mostly all bare dirt. I’m sure a majority of watering is focused on the greens, but even then, they were rough. The pace of play was the next major issue. We teed off around noon on a Friday, hoping to get through before the weekend rush. This wasn’t the case. There was no starter or ranger to keep things moving. There were multiple groups of 4 in front of us that made us play 10 holes in 3 hours and eventually get frustrated enough to leave. The group in front of us did offer to play through, but we would not have gotten far, had we not declined with the other groups in front of them. I will eventually give the course another shot, as I know how important it is for the community and its patrons. Perhaps a weekday tee time or another time would be better.
Not as good as past rounds
First of all, I got charged more at the course than the Golf Now app said that I would. The fairways were nice, but the greens were in pretty rough condition. I’m assuming because of the weather as well as other golfers who don’t know how to fix their divots or their spike marks. There are a few areas around the course that had been under construction, but they never fixed the area that was being worked on, so lots of tractor ruts, uneven dirt, and mud holes. Tee boxes were in pretty rough condition also.
